Morning lovelies!

I finished my blue shawl last week. It was a lovely shawl, easy pattern to follow and a wonderful yarn to crochet with…

Some infos about this shawl

♥ Yarn: Debbie bliss baby cachmerino blue (About 9 x 50g with the fringes )

♥ Hook: 3.5 mm

♥ Pattern: The pattern is by mypicot.com You can find it if you google: mypicot 10007 shawl. I followed the exact chart but did not crochet the fringes on the sides. Instead I crocheted 5ch 😉

7

The first bedspread I am crocheting for my girls room is mostly done too. I still have 18 squares to add and an edging of course 🙂 I am totally completely in love with it ♥

8

and I am already planning the second one 🙂 Grannies… yes… my eternal love ♥

*The yarn I am using for both bedspread is Stylecraft special DK and Stylecraft life DK*

9

And I am also knitting. I want to finish my “trendy chale” before the cold. I love the color sooo much. It is the burnt orange of the Debbie bliss cashmerino aran and the needles 8mm 🙂 The “trendy chale” is a triangular very simple shawl and you increase just one stitch in each row. I love the simplicity of the design and the warm and snuggly look of the final shawl ♥

10

And I am still into knitted beanies. I am loving the chunky look of them knitted with chunky yarn. Here I am using the drops andes yarn ♥

That’s all my friends! All about my actual creative projects ♥

Stay safe, take care of yourself and see you very soon 😉

Much love,

Sucrette

Autumn love ♥

Hello!

October is here. Autumn is here. I love autumn. I love the colors, the “normal routine” in our life, the back to school and the mummy free time I have back in October 🙂 It is a lovely month not too cold not too hot in my part of the world. The light is beautiful. The perfect weather for crocheting and knitting too. I am working on 5 different wips and I am loving it 🙂 Yes, maybe it is too much but I love it. I don’t ever get bored of a project.

In crochet, I am actually joining the last squares of this beautiful blanket ♥

1

I wanted it to be a bedspread for one of the girls bed but I changed my mind when I tried it on the bed…

I changed my ming and decided to give it as a wedding gift…

and start a new bedspread for the girls…

2

a classic kind of colorful squares joined as I go with a last round of 1sc 3ch 1sc all around the square and in the 4 corners…

3

I love the simplicity of this design and find it better for a bedspread. What do you think?

4

I love how colorful it is and how simple too ♥

And how about knitting? Knitting is now my new addiction and I am totally hooked… I loooooove it…

5

and I can’t stop making colorful beanies for everybody 🙂

6

I started also a “trendy chale” inspired by my IG French ladies. It is a triangular very simple shawl very cosy and warm. And the soothing effect of knitting this simple stitch and increasing one stitch in every row is wonderful. My favorite project for the evenings…

7

It is growing very fast and the color is a deep orange very automnal. It is really beautiful but I can’t seem to catch it correctly in these pics. The yarn is lima drops and I love it♥

I still have my light blue shawl that I did not show you in this post . I will show it to you next time. It is very slowly growing. I really wish I had 48 hours a day 🙂

Wishing you a beautiful thursday!

Sending you love and hugs

What I am actually KNITTING ♥

By | October 6th, 2015|"done", Bedspread, granny squares, knitted beanies, knitting, shawl, Uncategorized, wips|6 Comments

I learned to knit many years ago. And I remember that I did not really love it. Seing so many beautiful knitting projects especially on my IG feed I felt the urge to pick up my needles again 🙂 I’ve made a small search and read some reviews before I ordered some circular needles from amazon and that was it 🙂

1

I am now totally hooked 🙂

2

Totally addicted… I love it. ♥ I love the music it makes ♥ I love the beautiful sweet results ♥

3

I love how the colors melt in the knitting ♥

4

Now I want to make some colorful beanies for my children, and for my 3 nieces too ♥ I want colors on my needles everyday ♥

5

Crochet is my first love and I am being unfaithful ♥ but that is ok because I can knit and crochet together.

7

8

And I can have many crochet wips along with many knitting wips too 🙂 hahaha and I simply love it ♥

Life is beautiful, enjoy the small pleasures ♥

Kisses

August is gone…

By | September 9th, 2015|A month with pics, Bedspread, Corners of my home, Crocheted blankets, granny squares, join-as-you-go, My family, Ripple, Uncategorized, wips|6 Comments

Hello!

August went really really fast this year and I still can not believe that we are already in September…

1

August was great. We went for a one week vacation to Club Med Palmiye Turkey and it was wonderful…

2

We spent a whole week with the children and I fully recharged my batteries 😉

3

I crocheted a lot in August… Finished my hexagons blanket (see previous post) and I started two bedspreads for the girls 🙂

5

I always wanted to make grannies bedspreads for my children. They have something I can’t explain. They remind me of my grandmother, the sweetness of my childhood and I really really love to crochet them…

4

They have a vintage touch I just adore 🙂 I am mixing different kinds of Stylecraft yarn. Mostly Stylecraft special DK, some Stylecraft alpaca tweed and some colors of the Stylecraft life range 🙂

6

I love the look of a granny square with mixed kinds of yarn ♥

For Christina my eldest daughter I’ll be joining the squares with parchment … and for Sarah, the joining color will be the dark grey (graphite) 🙂 My girls have very different characters and one is dark hair dark skin (Christina) the other is very blond (Sarah)

7

So contrasting grannies bedspreads they will have in their room 🙂 Can’t wait to finish them both 🙂

8

and  I am also still crocheting my ripple with the Stylecraft life Dk and loving it more and more ♥

11

August has brought some changes in my home too. We painted our walls and I chose the yellow mustard (my favorite color of the moment) to paint the wall behind our bed ♥

10

and a wall in our sitting room ♥

9

I just looooove LOVE LOVE this color. So bright, so fresh and sooo warm ♥

(The painting color’s name is honey mustard from DULUX)

That is all for today my dearest friends!

Have to go now…

Sending you hugs and kisses through this post ♥

Busy crocheting days

By | June 19th, 2015|Bedspread, colors and yarns, Corners of my home, Crocheted blankets, etsy shop, for babies, granny squares, Hexagons, new projects, Uncategorized, wips|10 Comments

Hello sweet friend!

1

I’ve been busy, busy crocheting with tons of ideas in my head. I want to crochet crochet crochet. I want to crochet baby blankets, lots of them, different kinds, a lot of colors, bright, happy colors. I don’t know what is happening with me…

10

My hook is burning and I decided to reopen my etsy shop and try to sell baby blankets. Wooohooo I am very very excited about this idea. And I don’t care if it will work or no… I want to try… just crochet and try… will see what will it leads me to… maybe I will close again my shop… maybe not…

3

I wanted first to finish my actual wips. This hexagons blanket. And the granny bedspread of my daughter Sarah. But I COULDN’T. The hexagons is mostly done…

4

still have some to join… and it needs an edging of course…

2

And for the bedspread…

7

I will leave it for the autumn… Now I have to make baby blankets…

5

So I started two… one with a cream edge…

6

and the second a big colorful granny…

8

9

and a third, and a fourth, and a fifth (I will not tell about all the crazy ideas in my crazy head) I have to finish the first two, post them in Etsy and then begin the others 🙂

7

My Etsy shop is still mostly empty (I posted some of my patterns for sale there). I will tell you when the baby blankets will be there too 🙂

I am crossing my fingers now and saying a small prayer 🙂

Will keep you updated my friend!

Love ♥
