A third project on the go :)

Good morniiiiiiiing sweet people!

When I first saw Lucy’s blooming flower cushion I thought to myself I have to make one of my own, I HAVE TO!

This flower cushion is incredibly beautiful, wonderful, amazing …. I fell crazy in love and was a little bit afraid of the tutorial thinking that it was maybe too hard and complicated… and then, I tried it one night…and it worked…and when you’ve done the first four rounds it becomes very simple… ooooh a lovely tutorial with a lovely result… Thank you so much Lucy!

Before trying it, I decided to use the same thin acrylic yarn that I used for this cushion and this one! It is called : Mirage 100%acrylic yarn and I have some leftover in beautiful colors…

It is much thinner than the Nako yarn I normally work with to make most of my blankets and projects!Β  and it is crocheted with a 3mm hook !

So, after I put all my left over mirage yarn in my plastic basket I began following stitch after stitch Lucy’s lovely tutorial that you can find here!

I can tell you something about this tuto…it is very addictive…and the more you work on…the more beautiful it becomes….the more you want to crochet….

I even added 3 more rounds yesterday evening to show them to you… This is how it looks like this morning πŸ™‚

My husband who never never comment on any of my hook projects said to me yesterday: ” This is beautiful!! ” πŸ˜€ (lucky me πŸ™‚ )

I’m thinking about making it very very big…. 45 cm diam…but I don’t know if the tutorial will still work for so many number of rounds… do you have any idea? Did anyone of you worked on this and made it very big? I would really love to know…

Anyhow, Thank you again Lucy for this marvelous project!

and thank you all for visiting today!

Sending you parcels of love via this blog πŸ™‚

Warm kisses!

Mosaic cushion !

Hello !

I’ve been busy yesterday finishing the Mosaic cushion and writing down the graphic of its pattern.

As so many of you asked for it, I did manage some time to draw it for you ! (I could not resist πŸ™‚ )

It is so simple, you will see, you can guess it by just looking at the pics πŸ™‚

But before the graphic, lets have a look to the cushion πŸ™‚ (I adore it)

This pattern is perfect for a baby blanket or another Giant granny πŸ™‚ hehe

and the graphic made with Corel Draw:

A last pic before saying goodbye…

Thank you all again for being here πŸ™‚

Have a lovely day!

P.S: To Julia: I crochet every day sometimes for only 10 minutes sometimes for a couple of hours! It depends πŸ˜‰

New wip

Good morning!

Hope you’re having a fresh Monday start! Autumn is here and the fresh September breeze coming from my window in the morning is delightful πŸ™‚

I’m sooo enjoying my morning today and I’m feeling very happy without any particular reason…I think I love September…September and May are my favorite months…I just love the temperate climate of these two months…not feeling hot and not feeling cold either…

Crochet side, I’ve begin a new cushion to go with my vintage one… A mosaic cushion…

I’m enjoying soo much the making of this cushion that I’m already thinking about a future blanket made with this pattern…

Maybe…one day… πŸ™‚

Do you feel sometimes that you have so much projects in your head that you wish you’ve had 4 hands or days of 48 hours? that’s always happening to me πŸ™‚

althoughΒ  I crochet very fast… so fast sometimes that I feels that my hook exceeds the speed of my brain πŸ˜€ haha

That’s all for today my friend!

Enjoy the coming week and Enjoy September!

See you πŸ˜‰

Vintage cushion!

Good morniiiiiiiiing!

Do you remember my wip vintage blanket that I started not long time ago? Well, it turned into a vintage cushion for my formal living πŸ™‚

It is made with a very thin acrylic yarn and I felt quite impossible to crochet a blanket with this kind of yarn (lazy lazy πŸ™‚ ) … So I transformed it…

Here is the result…

A big vintage cushion πŸ™‚ (60x60cm)

LOVE LOVE LOVE it πŸ™‚

Love it even moreΒ  in my living next to the round granny one…

LOVE it sooo much that I decided to make another cushion just to go with these two…

I’ll show you something next time πŸ˜‰ Stay tuned!

Before I go I want to thank Grace Ann for the Versatile blogger award! This is very sweet from you Grace Ann! Thank you sooo much!

and thank you all for visiting πŸ™‚

Have a wonderful day!

Life is good, enjoy the little things…

Good morning,

How are you today? I’ve been missing you these days…life is running so fast that I have barely time to breathe…

I want to begin this post by thanking you all for your birthday wishes and your sweet words…It was a special birthday this year because of you all my blogland friends πŸ™‚

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!

Talking about hearts, I’ve been doing some…

stuffed with lavender…

mmmmh…smelling sooo good that I want to make more and more and hang them everywhere around the house …

I want to show you also this cute handmade cushion I could not resist buying…

Isn’t it lovely with all those tiny buttons and small details ?

and this cute-brown-balls border?

and it has a beautiful sewed quote on it : Life is good, enjoy the little things ! (The title of this post) That is one I should remember always πŸ˜‰

I love having all kind of handmade cushions on my sofas … I have a problem with cushions…I keep making them and buying them πŸ™‚

and the granny blanket you see on the right side of this pic is the one I am crocheting right now (will talk about it in another post πŸ˜‰ )

And finally before leaving you some hooky stuff made this week…

I finished the cover for the round stool to go with the orange cushion and the paintings…

The colors on these pics are a little strange I don’t know why…

But “live” they are warm and happy … I should take other pics when the light is better …

Time to go now… play a little with the girls before lunch time πŸ˜‰

Thank you for your visit today!

Have a great week end!
