Progress

Good moooorning, hello, bonjouuuuur

How are you? Hope you’re fine today! It seems like time is flying for me these days and I’m running like crazy πŸ™‚ I wish I’ve had just a couple of hours per day to sit quietly and crochet πŸ™‚

I’m making progresss on the baby grannyΒ blanket but it is a very slow one … I really should be finishing this blanket by now…but with an average of 10 minutes of crochet per day it is quite impossible πŸ™‚

I’m loving the slow making of it…I must confess

Apart from that, life is quite and ordinary…we’re enjoying the summer days…we’re enjoying the “at-home” days…

Β and we’re making progress too in our “construction-works”…we’ve already made the walls to divide the space:

Here is my future craft rooms (It has the two windows you see on the right side of this pic and the door on the left) The other half where I’m standing to take this pic is my hubby’s place…We’ll haveΒ a big closet in the middle to make a boundary between our two spaces πŸ˜‰

Now, we’re gonna put new tiles on the floor (I’ll show you, next time, when it will be done)

Have a happy week my friend!

Lovely days…

Good morning sweeties,

I am really really missing you these days πŸ™‚ I feel like I’m a little away from blogland even though I’m still crocheting …

I am better today…totally cured and in a very good shape… sunshine again in my life πŸ˜‰

Thank you so much for your lovely response about the baby set pattern…I am always very happy that you like that much the patterns I’m making πŸ™‚ It is a huge pleasure for me knowing that you’re crocheting the same little projects that I do πŸ™‚

There is so much happening here in my little house…The girls are at home and there is a lot of construction work happening…

My craft room will become very soon the new baby’s room… and downstairs, we have a huge inside parking for the cars, which will be divided into two rooms (one for my craft studio, the second for my hubby’s work) and a parking for our cars(not a huge one anymore). So we are now making walls, dividing the space, painting…etcΒ and I am dreaming….dreaming about my future place, just for me, just for my painting, my crochet and my sewing work πŸ™‚ and it fills me with such a huge joy….knowing that in a few weeks I will have a room for my new baby and downstairs a room just for my stuff, a room that I can decorate like I want and where I can do all the dreamy things I love to do…I am lucky I know πŸ™‚

I will show you all the pics of “before” and “after” if you love to have a peek πŸ˜‰ now there is just a big grey space…not so interesting to look at…

Talking about crochet…

I am finishing now the crocheted cover I’m making for my stool…

It is turning out great…can’t wait to show you…

and I’m working also on my baby granny blanket ….

crocheting small two-rounds colorful grannies …

to add them to the blanket… Oh how I love grannies…I am a granny lover…can’t get enough of them πŸ™‚

That’s what’s going on in my life these days…I am in a very happy mood…staying home… spending time with my girls…making projects for my little house… dreaming and getting kicked a lot from the little bundle of joy that is growing inside me πŸ™‚

I hope you’re feeling good too my friend…that the sun is shining for you wherever you are…

Have a beautiful day

Baby granny blanket

Hello sweeties!

How’s everything? Hope all is great for you! I am now in my 24th week of pregnancy and I’m feeling good so far…the baby is kicking me a lot and I must confess that this is one of the best things I just love about being pregnant πŸ™‚

Last week, I started a new blanket for him! This is his second one. The first was the joyful ripple if you still remember!

Well, this second blanket will be a granny one for the coldest days of winter as I’m crocheting it with the Nako Vizon yarn and a 4.5mm crochet hook…Wanna see some pics?

First I chose some colors…9 bright and lovely colors for the first two rounds of each granny…

and two colors for round3 and 4 of each square…A lovely light blue with a beautiful brown …

and then I started some grannies just to try out the result of this combination-idea I had on my mind for weeks πŸ˜‰

and I made 9 colorful 2 rounds-squares … and then I crocheted the third round in light blue…

then I added a 4th round in brown…

I’m joining the squares with this 4th round using the join-as-I-go method…

I just love how this turned out πŸ™‚ what do you think?

Β

I love these blue and brown colors surrounding the others πŸ™‚

There is something about granny squares that make me want to crochet all day long …I just can’t resist them πŸ™‚

I’m using the very classic pattern for these squares. You can find it here!

So, sweeties, I hope you like the beginning of my new wip!

Thank you so much for visiting today and thanks to all of you who voted for Le monde de Sucrette on the 2012 Blue ribbon Blogger awards of Country Living….Even thought I can not win and I just discovered this due to the lovely Denise who left for me a comment saying that this competition was for the residents of the U.S only πŸ™ I feel a little dissapointed and a little sad because I let you vote for a comptetion I could not win…so sorry my friend πŸ™ I did not knew πŸ™

Concerning the baby set pattern: I did not finish it yet…sorry again…cause this weekend I could not find time for it … I promise that it will be ready at the end of this week πŸ™‚

Have a lovely day wherever you are…I’m sendingΒ a lot of hugsΒ and kisses your way!

Rainbow baby set

Good morning sweeties!

How are you today? My rainbow baby set is finished and I couldn’t wait no more to show you πŸ™‚ I love this tiny set….I think it is not for a new born baby…It is for a 3-6 months old one and will be perfect for mine as here in Lebanon, the weather is not so cold before January-February (the 2 coldest months of the year)

So? Wanna see? Of course you want…

Mmmmmh πŸ™‚ What do you think?

I’m in love πŸ™‚

with the colors…

and theΒ little buttons…

I’m specially in love with the boots …

Aren’t they cute??? I am very pleased with the little modifications I made for the boots…

I think they are cuter now πŸ˜‰

I’m preparing right now a pattern for both the little vest and the boots.

The pattern will be fully explained in both English and Frensh with step by step pictures and some graphics too πŸ™‚ It will be available very soon in my “for-sale” patterns!

That’s all my friends! I hope you liked this little baby set πŸ™‚

I wish you a rainbowy day and will see you very very soon πŸ˜‰

Something new on my hook

Good morning sweeties!

What a beautiful morning to spend with you today sharing my latest crochet news πŸ™‚

I finished some “things” for number3 I want to show you today! Tadaaaaaaaaaaaa

A sleevless jacket (or a cardigan? that’s what translator is telling me to write but I’m not sure if it is correct) and some baby boots. It is not my kind of colors, but as a first trial, I like toΒ crochet with a plain color to try out the pattern and when it is ok, I’ll make colorful ones πŸ˜‰

The cardigan is not so bad for a first attempt I must confess…but there is some changes I have to do for a better second one πŸ˜‰

I love to make cardigans for babies as I think they are very practical to wear on the babies pyjamas…specially if they are sleeveless… I hate when I’m putting a sweater to my baby and I have to count how many little fingers are still left inside…I’m sure you’re understanding what I mean πŸ™‚ So sleevless vests are the best kind of winter clothing for babies…that’s why I will make some more …

and baby boots πŸ™‚ These also are a first attempt and I must confess that I spend a whole day crocheting and then unravelling and then crocheting again and again with sometimes feeling a little discouraged…etc etc but I kept on going …

Β and finally, I confess, that I don’t love them as much as I should…I have now more modifications I shall add to make them cuter πŸ™‚ Willshow you better little baby boots very very soon πŸ˜‰ I promise!

The yarn I’m using is called Nako Baby. A mixture of 50% acrylic and 50% polyamid worked with a 3mm crochet hook! It is a super super soft yarn, perfect for babies stuff and it is similar as thikness as the sylecraft special DK…

And concerning this cute owl πŸ™‚ OHHH I fall in love with it and could not resist buying it for my baby πŸ™‚

This is the first thing I bought for him and I love it πŸ™‚ It is from a frensh brand (I think) called: Latitude

I enjoyed very very much crocheting these little “thingies” for my baby…and could not help myself beginning a second attempt (crossing my fingers for a better result this time)

with rainbow colors πŸ™‚ better don’t you think?

Have to go now! Don’t forget! The giveaway is still running until mondayΒ  on this post, so it you did not left a comment you can still do iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

Thank you so much for visiting and for your kind words concerning my tummy πŸ˜‰ My due date is between September1 n October 1…I give birth by Cesarian and For my first two it was early C-sctions (at the very beginning of month9 for my oldest Christina and on the second week of month9 for Sarah my number2) so I’m expecting it to be between sep7 and sep21 for number 3 if everything goes well πŸ™‚

Have a wonderful weekend!
