Good morning lovelies,

April is gone, and May is here. I love May. It is my birthday month (tomorrow May 7 I’ll be 37) but I love it for other reasons. It is for me the month of hope, the month of sun, good weather, birds, flowers 🙂 It is my favorite month. You can not be too sad in May 🙂

I feel always that I am neglecting this blog of mine. I go for long periods of time and I miss blogging… but life is really really busy … and the days are passing too quickly…

1

I’ve been having some technical issues with my blog lately and I know that many of you dears friends who are subscribed in the email notifications are not receiving any 🙁 and I am sooo sorry about that… Hope that you’ll receive this post today 🙂

2

I’ve been crocheting a lot, using a lot of colors (that is what I love to do), mixing colors, relaxing with my hook and yarn, enjoying Instagram and Facebook (I am an Instagram addict 😉 ),

4

baking, cooking and discovering the joy of staying in my kitchen 🙂 I am discovering a new passion and really enjoying cooking and baking books and trying new recipes and soooooo loooooooving it 🙂

I am like a baby discovering the world around him for the first time. Where was I during all these years? Why did I use to hate everything kitchen related? WOOOW I am constantly saying WOOOOW and my family is really happy with that new passion of mine 🙂

3

Now that is Spring is here the whole house has been dressed with a spring touch 🙂

7

8

Fresh colors everywhere and it feels really good 🙂 How I love Spring!

Hello hello hello

How are you doing sweet friends? I’ve been having some technical issues with my blog lately and I know that my posts are not reaching the emails subscribers and I am very sorry about that. I hope that it is fixed now and that you’ll be receiving all the new posts from Le monde de Sucrette 🙂

7

Thank you so much for the lovely response to my latest pattern. Knowing that you liked it and that you are already crocheting it makes me very very happy ♥

2

For the ones that did not receive my latest posts and wish to purchase this fresh and springy hexagon flower, you can find it HERE 🙂

1

Today, the girls  are back to school and Joe back to daycare. The house is silent and calm and I already missed them 🙁

2

I’ve been working lately on this very old wip of mine : the granny stripes. Together with the old ripple they will be on the girls beds for spring time. I’m thinking about doing them half blankets… for the bottom part of the bed …( can’t find the name of that not very big blanket that you lay just on the bottom of the bed)  like many lovely pics I saw on Pinterest 🙂

5

So, I’m nearly done with them both… Still have 10 rows for the ripple (will show it to you next time) and 20 rows on this granny stripes 🙂

9

I am really pleased with how they are turning out. Fresh and colorful 😀

6

And I’ve been spending a lot of time in my kitchen lately and enjoying it 🙂

7

Who would have guessed 10 years ago that I’ll enjoy cooking and baking one day 🙂 Not me 🙂 I am discovering a new “me” and I love that new “me”

4

I’ve been baking a lot of cakes and home made bread in the new “pangourmet” oven a gift from my adorable man 😉 and enjoying it… the smell is wonderful and the taste delicious 🙂

8

Have to leave you now and make some boring chores around the place 😉

3

I’ll be back very soon,

Sending you kisses!

Old forgotten wips

By | February 27th, 2015|Baking, granny stripes, Hexagons, Mug love, Ripple, Stripes, Uncategorized, wips|21 Comments

Hello!

center;”>A new post today about very old forgotten wips that I decided to work on again and finish.

6

I have a small problem. I often begin a project and leave it aside. And I work on various wips together too. So I have 2 small problems 😉 I have now on my hook 5 different projects (all are blankets). One of them is nearly finished. So 4 wips 🙂

7

When I was reducing the mess in my craft room last week I saw this old ripple blanket I started years ago. I remember leaving it aside when I discovered the joy of working with aran yarn. This ripple is crocheted with a thin DK yarn and a 3.5mm hook and I think that I got bored with the slowliness (Is that a word?:D ) this project was growing… (My english is soooo bad )

8

So I was like OOOOH wooow and decided to work again on it. And aside of this ripple was a granny stripes blankie started in the same period of time and with the same yarn…

9

I decided to give these two second chances (they deserve it, don’t you think?) and try to finish them. Yes, finish them 🙂

10

And finish also the others wips that are on my hook like the hexagons blankie…

2

… I am crocheting with the Debbie bliss yarn. I think that I am taking my time and working on this very slowly to make the pleasure last longer… Cause you know and I already told you that this yarn is a pure pleasure to crochet with…

1

And I’ll have to order more yarn…These are the leftovers…

3

and this is the size of the blanket right now… I surely need more yarn 😉

5

The baby V stitch blanket is done too. It is lovely and deserves a proper post… So next time there will be a tadaaaa post here 🙂 Watch this space 😉

4

I’ll leave you now with this pic of the delicious pineapple cake I’ve baked on Sunday. And wish you a wonderful weekend filled with little pleasures!

See you soon

Zigzagy: My granny stripes blanket: 100% done!!

By | September 13th, 2010|Crocheted blankets, granny stripes, Uncategorized|10 Comments

Hourraayy! It’s done, finished, terminé! and I am very happy with the result!

I started this granny stripes blanket when every body on the net was doing it but I left it beside doing some other crocheted things 🙂

Last week I decided to FINALLY finish it …

Enjoy the pics:

It is made with Stylecraft special DK yarns.

It measures : 148x120cm

Take a look to its border: do you love it?

(I’ll post next time its pattern;))

Once again, you have to excuse me posting the patterns in a graphic way because I have a french background and my English is a little bit poor 🙂 (don’t tell anybody but I open translator when writing my posts :))

The colors are very fresh for this blanket and I love them!

That’s all ! Hope you enjoyed!

Have a great sunshiny monday!

Kisses,

Sucrette
