Hello hello hello

How are you doing sweet friends? I’ve been having some technical issues with my blog lately and I know that my posts are not reaching the emails subscribers and I am very sorry about that. I hope that it is fixed now and that you’ll be receiving all the new posts from Le monde de Sucrette 🙂

7

Thank you so much for the lovely response to my latest pattern. Knowing that you liked it and that you are already crocheting it makes me very very happy ♥

2

For the ones that did not receive my latest posts and wish to purchase this fresh and springy hexagon flower, you can find it HERE 🙂

1

Today, the girls  are back to school and Joe back to daycare. The house is silent and calm and I already missed them 🙁

2

I’ve been working lately on this very old wip of mine : the granny stripes. Together with the old ripple they will be on the girls beds for spring time. I’m thinking about doing them half blankets… for the bottom part of the bed …( can’t find the name of that not very big blanket that you lay just on the bottom of the bed)  like many lovely pics I saw on Pinterest 🙂

5

So, I’m nearly done with them both… Still have 10 rows for the ripple (will show it to you next time) and 20 rows on this granny stripes 🙂

9

I am really pleased with how they are turning out. Fresh and colorful 😀

6

And I’ve been spending a lot of time in my kitchen lately and enjoying it 🙂

7

Who would have guessed 10 years ago that I’ll enjoy cooking and baking one day 🙂 Not me 🙂 I am discovering a new “me” and I love that new “me”

4

I’ve been baking a lot of cakes and home made bread in the new “pangourmet” oven a gift from my adorable man 😉 and enjoying it… the smell is wonderful and the taste delicious 🙂

8

Have to leave you now and make some boring chores around the place 😉

3

I’ll be back very soon,

Sending you kisses!

Sucrette’s hexagon flower

By | April 3rd, 2015|"done", hexagon flower, Hexagons, patterns for sale, table runner, Uncategorized|18 Comments

Hello!

I’ve had so much fun designing this lacy springy and delicate hexagon flower last week 🙂

1

Choosing the colors, working on the pattern, trying and trying different looks this is something I really really love to do 🙂 I feel like I am on another planet, on a kind of fluffy cloud away from everything, like a dreamy place I am escaping to 🙂

2

I’ve designed this hexagon with spring, birds singing, tulips, roses and blooming colorful flowers in my head… and just looking at it makes me very very happy 🙂 I loooove spring 🙂 Who doesn’t?

3

I’ve made a table runner for my room with joining the hexagons as I go and I love how it turned out 🙂

4

5

And look at this simple design surrounded by cream… definitively a summer blanket or a shawl…. mmmmh a shawl with a vintage look….Oh my…. the ideas are blooming in my head 🙂 I just can’t stop…

8

I love the look of the hexagons with cream edging … it shows the flower better 🙂

7

And with just one color… I tried it with my favorite yellow… it is looking good too 🙂

d

Well my friend I’ve drawn for you a chart of this delicate hexagon flower and step by step pictures too… all that in a PDF file that you can download for a small symbolic amount of 3.5 USD

The pattern is made of a clear chart of the hexagon+ a clear chart of the joining hexagons together+ easy to follow step by step pictures of crocheting an hexagon and joining it to 2 others. No written pattern (I just don’t know how to do it sorry…)

If you wish to purchase the pattern just click here:

and you’ll receive the PDF file within 24 hours. Please allow me 24 hours to send you the pattern I am a busy mom and sometimes I don’t have time to check frequently my emails. 🙂

And if you do not receive your pattern within 24 hours please check your spam folder (it is sometimes hidden there by mistake 🙂 ) If it is not there please contact me ( sucrette@lemondedesucrette ) and I’ll send it to you again asap .

Hope you’ll love this new hexagon flower as much as I do ♥

Sending you love and wishing you a happy blessed Easter time ♥

So, my friend, I’ll be releasing the pattern very very soon… I’ll try to work on it this weekend 🙂

Old forgotten wips

By | February 27th, 2015|Baking, granny stripes, Hexagons, Mug love, Ripple, Stripes, Uncategorized, wips|21 Comments

Hello!

center;”>A new post today about very old forgotten wips that I decided to work on again and finish.

6

I have a small problem. I often begin a project and leave it aside. And I work on various wips together too. So I have 2 small problems 😉 I have now on my hook 5 different projects (all are blankets). One of them is nearly finished. So 4 wips 🙂

7

When I was reducing the mess in my craft room last week I saw this old ripple blanket I started years ago. I remember leaving it aside when I discovered the joy of working with aran yarn. This ripple is crocheted with a thin DK yarn and a 3.5mm hook and I think that I got bored with the slowliness (Is that a word?:D ) this project was growing… (My english is soooo bad )

8

So I was like OOOOH wooow and decided to work again on it. And aside of this ripple was a granny stripes blankie started in the same period of time and with the same yarn…

9

I decided to give these two second chances (they deserve it, don’t you think?) and try to finish them. Yes, finish them 🙂

10

And finish also the others wips that are on my hook like the hexagons blankie…

2

… I am crocheting with the Debbie bliss yarn. I think that I am taking my time and working on this very slowly to make the pleasure last longer… Cause you know and I already told you that this yarn is a pure pleasure to crochet with…

1

And I’ll have to order more yarn…These are the leftovers…

3

and this is the size of the blanket right now… I surely need more yarn 😉

5

The baby V stitch blanket is done too. It is lovely and deserves a proper post… So next time there will be a tadaaaa post here 🙂 Watch this space 😉

4

I’ll leave you now with this pic of the delicious pineapple cake I’ve baked on Sunday. And wish you a wonderful weekend filled with little pleasures!

See you soon

The 4 wips I’m taking with me to 2015

By | December 19th, 2014|Bedspread, Crochet mood blanket 2014, Crocheted blankets, for babies, granny squares, Hexagons, Patchwork crocheted squares, Stripes, Uncategorized, wips|15 Comments

Good morning my sweet friend,

How are you today? I think that this will be my last post in 2014 so I thought about sharing with you my actual projects, the ones that I’ll take with me to 2015 😉

1* My Debbie bliss cachmerino aran hexagons blanket

1

I soooo love this project that I really really don’t want it to finish …

2

2* My granny squares bedspread… my labour of love…

3

… adding squares made from scraps…

4

… joining a row every now and then …

5

… and watching it ssslllooowwwllllyyyy grow 🙂

3* A new baby blanket for a princess due in April…

6

I love these colors together. Warm and happy colors. I can’t make a blanket with pastels… I really can’t…

7

I am still not sure about the pattern. It is a kind of V stitch but with less holes. I’m still trying it out. Once I get it right I’ll share with you the chart 😉

4* and finally my Crochet Mood Blanket 2014. I can’t seem to have the strengh to finish it. I must. It is a beauty. But I don’t know why I am neglecting it and it is thrown in this basket 🙁 I really really should finish it ……….

8

I finished all my gifts early this year and I am ready to welcome Christmas with a happy heart 🙂

I wish you a blessed festive season, a Merry Merry Christmas filled with love, health and joy!

See you next year 😉
