Good morning lovelies,

April is gone, and May is here. I love May. It is my birthday month (tomorrow May 7 I’ll be 37) but I love it for other reasons. It is for me the month of hope, the month of sun, good weather, birds, flowers πŸ™‚ It is my favorite month. You can not be too sad in May πŸ™‚

I feel always that I am neglecting this blog of mine. I go for long periods of time and I miss blogging… but life is really really busy … and the days are passing too quickly…

1

I’ve been having some technical issues with my blog lately and I know that many of you dears friends who are subscribed in the email notifications are not receiving any πŸ™ and I am sooo sorry about that… Hope that you’ll receive this post today πŸ™‚

2

I’ve been crocheting a lot, using a lot of colors (that is what I love to do), mixing colors, relaxing with my hook and yarn, enjoying Instagram and Facebook (I am an Instagram addict πŸ˜‰ ),

4

baking, cooking and discovering the joy of staying in my kitchen πŸ™‚ I am discovering a new passion and really enjoying cooking and baking books and trying new recipes and soooooo loooooooving it πŸ™‚

I am like a baby discovering the world around him for the first time. Where was I during all these years? Why did I use to hate everything kitchen related? WOOOW I am constantly saying WOOOOW and my family is really happy with that new passion of mine πŸ™‚

3

Now that is Spring is here the whole house has been dressed with a spring touch πŸ™‚

7

8

Fresh colors everywhere and it feels really good πŸ™‚ How I love Spring!

9

Whishing you a lovely day whatever you’ll be doing πŸ™‚

I won’t be long… I promise πŸ˜‰

Old forgotten wips

By | February 27th, 2015|Baking, granny stripes, Hexagons, Mug love, Ripple, Stripes, Uncategorized, wips|21 Comments

Hello!

center;”>A new post today about very old forgotten wips that I decided to work on again and finish.

6

I have a small problem. I often begin a project and leave it aside. And I work on various wips together too. So I have 2 small problems πŸ˜‰ I have now on my hook 5 different projects (all are blankets). One of them is nearly finished. So 4 wips πŸ™‚

7

When I was reducing the mess in my craft room last week IΒ saw this old ripple blanket I started years ago. I remember leaving it aside when I discovered the joy of working with aran yarn. This ripple is crocheted with a thin DK yarn and a 3.5mm hook and I think that I got bored with the slowliness (Is that a word?:D ) this project was growing… (My english is soooo bad )

8

So I was like OOOOH wooow and decided to work again on it. And aside of this ripple was a granny stripes blankie started in the same period of time and with theΒ same yarn…

9

I decided to give these two second chances (they deserve it, don’t you think?) and try to finish them. Yes, finish them πŸ™‚

10

And finish also the others wips that are on my hook like the hexagons blankie…

2

… I am crocheting with the Debbie bliss yarn. I think that I am taking my time and working on this very slowly to make the pleasure last longer… Cause you know and I already told you that this yarn is a pure pleasure to crochet with…

1

And I’ll have to order more yarn…These are the leftovers…

3

and this is the size of the blanket right now… I surely need more yarn πŸ˜‰

5

The baby V stitch blanket is done too. It is lovely and deserves a proper post… So next time there will be a tadaaaa post here πŸ™‚ Watch this space πŸ˜‰

4

I’ll leave you now with this pic of the delicious pineapple cake I’ve baked on Sunday. And wish you a wonderful weekend filled with little pleasures!

See you soon

V stitch stripes (Version2)

By | January 15th, 2015|another V stitch version, Crocheted blankets, for babies, free patterns, Stripes, Uncategorized, wips|56 Comments

Good morning sweet people

I missed you and I missed this little blog of mine. Today I want to share with you the chart of the baby blanket I am actually crocheting. I shared the chart on Instagram and Facebook and totally forgot to post it here πŸ™‚ So sorry my faithful blog followers …

1

This baby blanket is for a little princess due in April… so I choose happy girly colors and a new version of the so-popular V stitch in stripes. Happy stripes… Soothing and calming stripes…

2

The pattern is very easy… based on DC TOG mainly… It grows very fast and it is wonderful and easy to crochet it while doing something else like watching TV or singing with your children …

3

I am really enjoying it specially on the evenings…

You have to try it… you’ll be hooked πŸ˜‰

4

Wishing you a calm and happy end of week

and hope to be back to you very soon

LOVE

I love these colors together. Warm and happy colors. I can’t make a blanket with pastels… I really can’t…

I am still not sure about the pattern. It is a kind of V stitch but with less holes. I’m still trying it out.Β Once I get it right I’ll share with you the chart πŸ˜‰

4* and finally my Crochet Mood Blanket 2014. I can’t seem to have the strengh to finish it. I must. It is a beauty. But I don’t know why I am neglecting it and it is thrown in this basket πŸ™ I really really should finish it ……….

8

I finished all my gifts early this year and I am ready to welcome Christmas with a happy heart πŸ™‚

I wish you a blessed festive season, a Merry Merry Christmas filled with love, health and joy!
