Wips and a tadaaa

Hello lovelies,

How are you?

It’s been like ages since I last posted… life has been chaotic in my part of the world… Too much family and children time…so much to do…so little time … children at home…no time for myself…just time for crochet in the evenings …I am sure you understand…

I’ve managed to finish the baby boy’s ripple…Here it is….

BOY'S-RIPPLE-1

Not my-kind-of-colors but I like the softness of the whole blanket and I am sure the future-mother-to-be will love it 🙂

BOY'S-RIPPLE-2

And I’ve been crocheting like mad the tiny-squares-letter-cushion…

Wanna see the progress I’ve made?

C-AND-S-WIPS-1

I finished the C and on the way to finish the S too 😀

C-DONE

Even though they are making me crazy and bored and and and…. I must make them…

Maybe three of them for the children…

C-CLOSE-UP-EDGING

I will start the J for Joseph as soon as I finish the S of Sarah…

S-WIPS

Today, I’ll be in my craft room making the fabric cushions for these 2…

And you? What are you making today?

I wish you a wonderful day and hope to get back to you soon 😉

Kisses and hugs

The table runner :)

Oh hello lovelies!

It is such a beautiful day today and I’m in love… deeply madly crazy in love with my latest finished project… Are you ready to fall too? I’m sure you are 😉

I love love love this simple graphic square…I think it is simple but beautiful… and I love it even more because it is the fruit of my imagination… my own drawing… 🙂

table-runner-5

and I love the whole result…the table runner in all its glory…all these bright and beautiful colors mixed together in a lovely patchwork…

table-runner-6

I feel happy whenever I enter the sitting room 🙂

Now for the part you are all waiting for: The how to…

I crocheted this table runner with a thin cotton yarn called “Camilla 6/4” and a 2mm crochet hook. I made it by joining as I go the squares together in a randomly use of colors…

I drew for you my friend the graphic chart of this square… It is right here:

graphic square

As you noticed, the joining part was made as-I-go with round 5 (in black in the chart) and it is done where I put the arrows…(Instead of the middle chain a slip joining stitch)

Each square was done in a different color and I made a very simple edging (1sc, 4ch, 1sc) all around the whole table runner…

I am in love with it (did I already told you that?? I don’t think so :D) and I think that this graphic square will be beautiful if used to make coasters, cushions or a summer blanket why not?

So, my lovely friend, I’ll have to leave you now with a last pic…

table-runner-8

and wish you a wonderful day!

P.S: I draw all my graphic charts including this one using Corel Draw (a graphic design software) as many of you keep asking me 🙂

and one last thing: Some of you asks me if I can explain some of the charts with written words and I am so sorry about that but I just can’t do it sometimes… I am unable to do it 🙁 It is too difficult for me as I myself cannot follow an english written pattern 🙁 not yet! but one day… 😉

Kisses to all!

Baby’s patchwork bedspread

Gooooooooodmorning:)

How are you today? Must show you the patchwork bedspread which I finished on September15 before little Joseph was born! Must must show you 😉 Tadaaaaaaaaaaaa

This bedspread is crocheted with a 100% acrylic yarn called Mirage and a 3.5mm crochet hook.

It is made with traditional 6 rounds granny squares joined together as-I-go with Lucy’s wonderful method 🙂

and for the edging I made 1 round of granny’s and my ole-ole border that I love so much 🙂

The bedspread is made with 154 squares (14×11) with a variety of colors (all leftovers from my stash) 🙂

and I’m in love with it 🙂

Today the girls are back to school …

Not so happy to leave their little bro at home with me 🙂 hehehe

Wishing you a wonderful day!

I hope you liked the patchwork bedspread 🙂

Thank you sooooomuch for visiting!

Big big kisses from Christina, Sarah, Baby Joe and me!

Baby granny blanket!

Hellooooooooooooo!

I’m very proud to show you today my baby granny blanket in all its glory 🙂 Tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

This blanket was crocheted with the Nako Vizon …a 100% acrylic yarn with a 4mm crochet hook.

It is made with 48 traditional 4 rounds granny squares joined together as-I-go…

You can find the graphic pattern for the traditional granny square HERE!

And for the joining-as-you-go method, I use Lucy’s wonderful tuto that you can find HERE 🙂

The edging is crocheted with two granny rounds (1 in brown followed by 1 in blue) then a round of my favorite ole-ole border that you can find HERE 🙂 I just love this border and I can’t help my-self using it everytime 🙂

Now I’m taking extreme pleasure in buying boys’s toys 🙂 after many years of princesses and pink stuff 🙂

Like this cute little bear… Isn’t it adorable?

Or these little colorful wood cars …

Before I go today, I want to thank you all for the wonderful comments you leave here. I’m trying my best to write a small thank you to each one of you but sometimes I just can’t… so if I’m not answering you back, do excuse me…I always visit your blog and follow it with my reader but I don’t often have enough time to leave comments 🙁

I wish you a wonderful and colorful day…

Here the weather is soooo hot and sunny I can barely move 🙂

BIG BIG kisses!
