Hello lovelies,
I should now be finishing my fairy tale blanket, but I could not resist beginning two projects…
I promise to you that I’ll have a “tadaa” fairy tale post very soon, very very soon but I have to show you what’s on my creative table right now π
A rectangle cushion for my living room…crocheted with the leftover Stylecraft special DK yarns…and it turning out lovely…
and…
a new blanket (yes another blanket, I can not stop crocheting blankets π ) This one I am making it as a gift for a dear friend of mine who’s in love with grannies π
I’m using fresh colors and making the last round of every square with the off-white (very light beige) color…It is turning out beautiful … and I can feel that it will become a lovely blanket…
I am using this yarn for the “grannies love”…It is a 100% acrylic yarn…very soft with beautiful colors…
I’m in love with this Turkish brand π
Thank you for your visit today, It is always a pleasure having you here at Le monde de Sucrette π

I love a the project your showing, such beautifull colors!!!
Can’t wait to see them finished π
I’m sure this blanket will turn out as lovely as all the others! The colors really pop out! And I also love the yarns you use. I, myself can’t just do 1-2 projects but have to have more than 4 at once!
And again this is going to be a fabulous blanket. You are very clever in choosing your colours.
wow your blankets are amazing, I’m just attempting my first one and taking forever at it.
Oh, new project! I love this. I always have s much ideas in my head that I always have 4-5 projects running at the same time π The yarn looks great!
Can’t wait to see the fairy tale blanket.
Esther.
Beautiful shades of bright! Lovely colours and shapes.
I do like the grannies finished in the off-white colour – it really sets off the colours beautifully and looks very modern. I’m sure your friend will love the blanket!
Ooo it’s so hard to just focus on one thing, isn’t it? Im pleased I’m not the only one who hops from project to project. Both WiPs are looking great! xxx
It’s more fun to have more than one WIP that way you don’t get bored. I can’t tell you how many I have at the moment because I can’t count them all! Rachael Xx
I love the colours you are using. Just gorgeous.
So, so gorgeous! The colors are perfect. Like selections of candy in a candy store!
Gorgeous! I love the way you have done white petals in the first one. Very clever. x
Loving the cushion and blanket squares – gorgeous colours.

Wow! what a beautiful blanket! What a great job! I love your granny’s!
Hello,
I love your daisy design, but I could not find another pattern like it online. Would you mind sharing the pattern for your daisy granny square?
Thank you!
Hello Meaghan,
For the daisies pattern, it is the same as this one:
http://lemondedesucrette.wordpress.com/2010/09/01/leather-stool-the-pattern/
All you have to do is:
1- Do not crochet the 3d round
2- Crochet the 2nd round with the white color π
Enjoy it π
Angie
Sorry to bother you again, but I am a fairly new crocheter and so I was wondering if you could please explain the diagram pattern you sent me to?
Thank you
This is the pattern:

Sorry Meaghan but I don’t know how to explain crochet with words :(:(:(I’m soooo sorry!
Its ok! Thank you for your pattern, or should i say merci beaucoup. I’m so excited π
I have one more question though, does that diagram have a certain name? I’m not sure if I could google instructions or something.
Dear Meaghan,
I think you should search for “how to understand crochet diagrams” or something like that π
Have a good evening!
Hello,
I think I figured it out! This seems to be written the same as a Japanese pattern. I just thought that would be helpful in case someone else does not know how to read this pattern.
