P.S: For Anat who asked me about the yarns I recommend to make the poncho, dear Anat, I crocheted the poncho with a 100% acrylic yarn because you have a very good choice of colors and because acrylic is soft and machine washable which is convenient for children!

In my new studio…

Good morning my lovelies,

How’s everything?

Yesterday, was a big day for me, as I used my sewing machine again after a really long time period and I made something on my own without any help πŸ™‚ I am so proud of myself and could not resist showing to you πŸ™‚

Here it is: Beba the bear…

I sew Beba using small pieces of leftover fabric …and I enjoyed a lot making her…

Even if she’s not perfect, I am very happy with the result πŸ™‚ and I keep looking at her sitting here in my new craft room and I keep smiling to myself πŸ™‚ (crazy woman)

Now, I can sew and paint as I have my very own craft room …yes…a small craft room for me and only me πŸ™‚ I painted it in soft apple green with one wall in red ….

Wanna see some pics? I’ll show you some pics and leave other for another post as I still need to add some shelf and some other details πŸ˜‰ before the “studio” is really finished πŸ™‚

First I have a white cabinet…wanna see what’s inside? Let’s open it right now…Tadaaaaaaaaaa

I folded the pieces of fabric and I arranged them nicely… hoping that they will stay like this for a while πŸ™‚

mmmh love when I open this cabinet … and this one too…full of colorful yarns πŸ™‚ miammmm

and here we have a corner for painting stuff…in a small wood closet

I am so excited to paint again …

Hey! Beba! What are you doing up there? enjoying the new craft room eh?

That’s all lovely people πŸ˜€

Hope you enjoyed…

Thank you for your visit and have a wonderful day wherever you are,

Sucrette

Gooooooood morninnnnnnnng to youuuuuuuu

Hellooooooooooooooo

How are you today? Here the sun is shining and the weather is super great! It feels like SPRING already πŸ™‚

My fairy tale blanket is 12 rows already and I am so happy with how it is turning…Wanna see?

Mmmmh I just love it :):)

Still have 4 rows to go and the border (my favorite part)

Talking about borders…Do you remember this post about the 7 blankets of my home? Well, actually, I stopped for a few days now my fairy tale blanket and I am crocheting a border for the first 3 blankets in this post…Yes I have 3 old blankets without borders and I can not stand anymore looking at them without a proper border… It is like there is something huge missing to them πŸ™ So I decided to crochet a beautiful border to each one of them… A beautiful and “unique” special border to each…and I started with blanket #2 the stripes…

I will show you, of course, pics of before and after for every blanket…

and now, I shall leave you with a last pic of fairy tale…which became now a big lovely square…

Have a wonderful day,

and see you very soon πŸ˜‰

Corners of my home

Good morning ladies,

It’s been a while and I really really missed being here with you all… I missed plenty of beautiful projects posted here when I was away but I will very soon check up on everything and I am sure there is gorgeous missed crochet projects to admire and love …

I am actually slowly working on my fairy tale blanket which I’ll show you next time but today I want to share with you some corners of my new home πŸ™‚ which I am slowly decorating with old items and some new… I have plenty of cushions, crocheted projects for the kitchen shelves, hotpads etc to crochet and I am so happy to be busy for at least a whole year (and maybe more πŸ™‚ ) crocheting … just crocheting and dreaming about more crochet to come πŸ™‚ Youpyyyyyyy!

This is, first, the small living room (where the girls play and watch T.V) (and we have another bigger living room with a fireplace which I’ll show you in another post)

I love this red sofa. It is a deep red (my favorite color), but in these pics it is orange I don’t know why …

See how the crocheted items gives the whole room a lovely and warm look…

and next, the sleeping room of the girls…painted in pink…

There is two separate beds but I put the two together as the girls love to sleep close to each other πŸ™‚

The crocheted bed covers are made by my mom and grand mother when I was pregnant with my second baby Sarah…They are colorful grannies with the last two rows of every square in light and then dark pink…I love them ! Thank you again mom and grandma for these priceless blankets I’ll cherish forever…

The framed pics above the beds are all cross stitched pics made by myself when I was pregnant …

See how patient I was? hehe

Not anymore…Now it is impossible for me to concentrate on a cross stitch project even if it is a very small one… Am I getting old? πŸ˜€

and finally these are the curtains of my girls bedroom…

A flowered curtains… My dream when I was a little girl πŸ™‚

Hope you enjoyed these little corners of my home …It is such a pleasure to share them with you …

Thank you all for being here with me and for leaving such sweet messages…

Have a lovely week end my friend,

Kisses,

Sucrette

P.S: About the software I use to draw my patterns: It is “Corel draw” a graphic design software.

And for Marjo, who asked for the symbols in Dutch…I am very very sorry but I do not know a single word in Dutch πŸ™

Sorry again Marjo… for not being able to help…

Hello there :)
