Hello there!
What a title to a post eh? 🙂 hehe
As you already guessed the blanket is over 🙂 and it is delicious 🙂 wanna take a look?
Not my kind of colors but it turned out good … and I am happy 🙂
It measures 75x90cm which is a good size for a baby blanket…
I made the border using this pattern but I made half trebles instead of trebles …
The yarn I used is “Nako baby” 60% bamboo 40% polyamid… too bad you can only find pastels colors…because the yarn is so soft it is a pure pleasure to work with…
The crochet hook is a 4mm one. You can find here the graphic pattern for this blanket… Sorry again if I can only make graphic patterns … I am really really bad at explaining with words and I can not, myself, follow written patterns 🙁
and now I can not wait to get back to my bright, bold and happy colors again 😉 Youpiiii!
but will miss for sure the softness of this yarn …
Thank you for visiting 😉
Have a nice day!
Sucrette

That’s a gorgeous blanket! Sometimes it’s nice to work in different colours or fabrics to those we would normally choose – and Saritha is right, these colours are perfect for a baby!

Once again, a lovely job. I am amazed by how quickly you crochet blankets!

I love this blanket… and the edging. It is just perfect for a baby blanket and I’m sure it will be cherished for years to come x
Beautiful! Your pattern is lovely, too — thank you for sharing.
Es maravillosa!! te felicito, me imagino su suavidad, es realmente preciosa!
Beautiful, good job. Kisses.
Beautiful made Angie! But to be honest; I’d love you to go back to your usual bold and bright colours.
Sometimes I see yarn so soft and beautiful that it really must be a delight to work with, and the colourpalette is just not what I’m looking for. On the other hand, the opposite happens too. And since there aren’t that much yarn-shops anymore, I find it very difficult to find yarn which feels good, but also is in the right colours.
groetjes, Dorien
Beautiful! x

It’s perfect! Got me thinking I need to get back to stitching squares together… Happy to see you at Tangled Happy. Thanks for your nice comment. 🙂
hi sucrette! i do dearly love this blanket. i am totally loving pastels, it is sooo my colours. peaceful, relaxing, timeless. i will look for this yarn now. although i do nt quite know what polyamid is , maybe something that keeps the bamboo from stretching as it does? i know what you mean, the words on crochet terms can sometimes be wwaaaaay more confusing than that alien spaceship map over there ——>
i’ll go back and see the pattern, perhaps i can do !
love,
angelina
