Welcome ladies to our fun crochet a-long!!
Today I want you to applause our friend AntaraCeletna who has already crocheted 62 rounds and maybe more… 62 rounds !! woooow ! We are sooo proud of you π and her blanket is lovely with beautiful colors π Do not miss it: it is here π You did an amazingΒ job so far AntaraCeletna !! BRAVO!
There is a lot of wonderful blankets on flickr here and on Ravelry here….Go take a peek, it really worth a visit π
Mine has 38 rounds so far and it is very big already…I think it is because the yarn I’m using is a little chunky…
The days are getting hotter and hotter here (36 Celsius) and I have some difficulties putting it on my lap while crocheting π
But I’m enjoying every single stitch …and that what counts π
This is my favorite pic so far:
I’m a granny-obsessed-lover!
and as much as I enjoy crocheting I love looking at everyone’s GIANT and love how the other blankets are slowly getting bigger and bigger …
You are making wonderful pieces of ART ladies! Keep on the beautiful job π
Before leaving you today I want you to take a look there π (miammm that is really delicious π ) (Thank you Linda for this very cute link !)
Have a wonderful sunshiny week!

I love that your granny square is happily growing right along. I did some work on mine this weekend, but I can’t remember how many rounds…what size hook do you use? and do you have a plan with the colors? Or are you just letting your heart guide your hook??? Still very excited to be in the group!
I’m using a 4.5mm hook and I’m choosing randomly the colors π can’t wait to see your progress π
I love it too, to look at all the giant grannies.
Do you crochet with acrylic or cotton yarn?
Lovely greets
Annika
Hi Angie, how are you? What a great idea, the giant square! It looks great. I am starting to work again, so less time to crochet. Maybe i’ll join another challenge in the future. Keep up the good work! Cheers, Imke
I am so tired… noooo, it’s a joke! This weekend we celebrated 76 birthdays of my father when it come to the round 76 (this granny goes to commemorative being birthday) I wil rest… or not π
Your granny square is bigh and beautiful! Wow, I have to go check out the one that is 62 rounds. If i do anything that has more than 20 rounds I start to go a bit crazy. Our temps are around 50 just about every day now. You can find me indoors in pajamas just about every day (except weekends when hubby makes me get dressed and go out — HA!). Have a great day. Tammy
Wow, your granny looks fantastic, it’s so big! Mine is only 20 rounds, I just haven’t had time to add to it this week.
Dear Angie,
wow…your Granny looks soooo beautiful…love the colours so much. Mine was yesterday at 38 rounds and there’s so much fun.
Thank you so much for this great challenge!!!
Send you many, many Greetings and wish you a “Happy Week”,
Marion

It’s really great! Like your blog: I like it very much.
Hi Angie,
Your blanket is looking lovely. I will post a pic of mine later today. I’m not sure how many rounds I’m up to yet, I will measure again too. It is also hard to have my blanket on my lap as it is in the 80-90 F (not sure what that is in C), but last night when I was working on it it covered down to my ankles.
Those cookies are amazing. Must make some for my crochet friends, we have worked on some granny projects. Thanks for sharing the Link from Linda.
