Hello my friend,

How are you today? Hope life is good…

So, I started my ripple…

With the first two colors (dark green and light salmon) I was like: Ughhh not a very good start…

Then I added the turquoise….and I was like: mmmh a little better…

Then I added the red and I was like: OOOOH so much better… πŸ™‚

Then I added the yellow-mustard and I was like: woaaah hello Sunshine πŸ˜€

I’m loving loving loving too much my “Ripples of Happiness”! The pattern is very simple to follow…you have to try it and you’ll see πŸ˜‰ (veeeeeeeeery simple)

For this project I am using a different pattern from Lucy’s one… Same concept but a little more wavy…

I’m drawing right now a graphic pattern for you if you’re interested πŸ™‚ (I’ll post it next time)

I am enjoying so much this ripple along held by Lucy and Heather πŸ™‚ and I so encourage you to join us!

Go take a peek here there is a lot of ripples inspiring projects to look at πŸ˜‰

Have to go now… The girls are at home today…

Take care and happy crocheting!

That’s looking good and I’ll be waiting for the pattern for this as I’d love to make a wavy blanket sometime in the not very distante future although my son thinks I already have too many blankets!

I am now knitting two blankets at a time, when I complete them, I want to start with a ripple blanket.

Do you think I could possibly join in when I have 4 blankets on the go already? I am saying no but I get the feeling that may turn into a yes very soon. There are ripples blankets all over blogland tempting me every day! Love the colour combos you have chosen. x

Love your ripple. I also started one. Large one. It hangs over my queen bed. I am not thrilled with my first three colors hoping I will like after a few more.. Ugg If not I may need to start again.. Your blog is such a happy place! I would love to see a tutorial of how you weave in …knot or crochet over your ends.. Have a great day and thank you for sharing.

Good afternoon Sucrette πŸ™‚ Your ripple is coming along beautifully πŸ™‚ I love the deep waviness of it and all your colours.
I have started a small ripple cushion cover from Lucy’s pattern just to try it out while I stash up some wool yarn to make a blanket…. I think I will have to ‘stash’ up a bit quicker, LOL… I thought the same as you when I started my cushion, oh oh not sure of the colours but then I added a bright pink and some aqua to the mix and zing!
    How big will yours be?
I always look forward to your blog posts, so full of colour and sunshine πŸ™‚ Thank you for sharing, have a great day! hugs Elly

I also like to pass each new color you add. I’m a little lazy, but before Christmas I will start a ripple. I have many unfinished things but does not pass this year. You could also start a Manta Hole Zig Zag … before Christmas:)

Life IS good, especially with such colourful bits like this to read πŸ™‚ Your blanket is coming along amazingly. I joined the Flickr group so I can watch as they all progress- even if I am currently unable to participate! Beautiful work as always πŸ™‚

Loving your ripple! It’s how the colours look over all isn’t? If you don’t like a colour when you first do it, the chances are that it will look great in the whole scheme of things. I like the balance of your colours already, can’t wait until all your colours are added. Interesting seeing the different amount of rows for a colour that you are doing. I always love your work.

Looking good! Isn’t it funny how the combinations of colours can completely change the way something looks. That yellow is gorgeous! πŸ™‚
