Hello my sweeties,
How are you today? Here the sky is gray and it is raining π
Although the day is very dark I managed to take for you some pics of my finished painting … I could not wait to share with you π
Here it is: Flower power in all its glory…
Tadaaaaaaaaaaaa
I don’t know yet if I should leave the background white or should I paint it in a very light color (like light blue or light salmon)…what do you think?
Thank you all for your wonderful comments on my previous post …it is thanks to you that I had the “courage” to post about my painting…as I am not very confident about it (I’ve never been in my whole life π )
I’m finishing right now (slowly I can say) “stripes of love“…I still have 8 more rows to go and the edging… Hope I can show it to you done next week π
I’m off now to begin a new painting (don’t know from where came this strange passion for painting these days)
Sending you some colors to brighten up your day… (if it is as gray as mine !)
Have a wonderful week end π
Sucrette

Hi, very nice photos as well as hand jobs..
I love rainy days because they are ideal for knitting. Nice jobs with your painting.
Greetings from Spain.
Hello dear, your flowers look beautiful.
Lot of Kisses from Tenerife
The different backgrounds change the vibrancy of the flowers and vase. Personally I prefer the light blue because it makes the foreground much brighter, but they are all gorgeous. You have such a talent to be proud of. Have a wonderful day & weekend whatever the weather :0))
What beautiful flowers!! You made my day…
I adore that painting. It is really pretty. You can leave the backround if you want to. It is beautiful the way it is.
That looks very cool!
Have a good weekend, Esther.
I would hang this on my wall in a heartbeat Angie! <3
Such a gorgeous painting and you finished it so fast! π Can't wait to see what you'll be making next.
xo,
wink
ps You wouldn't happen to be selling prints from this painting or anything? π
very nice painting, i love it π i think you should paint the background in light salmon, it would be even nicer!
Alors, pour le fond de votre tableau, j’imagine tel que (blanc) ou bien bleu ciel !
Mais laissons le dernier mot Γ l’artiste !!

It’s gorgeous!!! I love it! So lively, bright, happy and fun! I’d say the white background is perfect! This would be perfect as small prints for stationery too π
oh-oh-oh, Angie! I don’t know what else I can add to the above comments … Great! Excellent! And I think the white background is very good.

Your flowers look just like your crocheted ones! So colourful. How talented you are.xx
Hi Angie, we’ve had gray skies for the past two days, also. Not much rain. And I sure hope it doesn’t rain much while we are away. We are travelling early in the morning to Sri Lanka through Thursday. There is rain there. But rain here tends to cause leaks and we won’t be here to clean up. :/
Your painting is definitely a WOW! It is so colorful and beautiful. You are certainly multi-talented. I need to get my yarn together for the trip so I have something to keep me busy during all the waiting.
Best wishes, Tammy
There are not many paintings I see that have me saying to myself “now That’s a painting I would like to Purchase” but this is one of them!!! I was just browsing through my reader and the picture caught my eye and I immediately clicked over to your site to see where you had purchased this print so I could write the artist’s name down and save it for when our forever home is built!!!
It may just be my comp, but the background doesn’t seem a glaring bright white to me, so I would agree to paint the background a very light colour!!
Wonderful work, and the best little pop of colour for our grey, COLD weather here in BC, Canada!!
I just discover your blog … It is wonderful in color! i just love it!
Your flowers are lovely and it is good to look at them when one know the color of our sky!!!
Your painting is just GrEat!!!!! ItΒ΄s vibrant, full of life! You shoul be very proud of it! π
