Hello hello hellooooo!
How are you today? Hope everything is good…
My mother made a couple of things for my baby that I want to show you today…I hope you’ll like 😉
First, there is a crocheted blanket…
She created the design herself 🙂 Isn’t it lovely?
and then she knited a little sweater with its assorted socks on the same “sea” theme…
I think she took the pattern of the little sweater from the latest “Marie Claire idees” magazine.
I just love this marine set 🙂
And my adorable mummy made a couple of little vests too and another lovely brown knitted sweater…
and a beautiful “nid d’ange”. I don’t know how we call these in English…It is a kind of long sweater closed from down that we put for our babies on cold days before going out …
I’m very proud of you mum 🙂 You are my very first inspiration…and I still have a lot to learn from you …Thank you for everything!
and my friends…
tomorrow…
“le monde de Sucrette” will turn two 🙂
Two years with you my lovelies 🙂 Two years of blogging thanks to you 🙂
I’m very happy to celebrate with you this second year …
Cheers!
Sucrette

How very lucky you are! Your mom made beautiful things for your new baby. In the US we call your baby outfit that’s closed at the bottom a bunting! I used them all the time for my little babies…they make it much easier to keep little legs warm!
Angie,
Está todo muy lindo, pero realmente lindo…. es un amor tu mami, ha tejido cosas hermosas, ahora entiendo de donde viene tu don por el tejido…..son fantásticas…
Just lovely!!
Beautiful work. Believe me Grandmothers are unable to stop knitting and crocheting for their grandbabies so you can expect lots of fun things in the future. I speak from experience.
There is a saying in German: The apple does not fall far from the tree…. your mother’s work is adorable, and so is yours. Congratulations on both receiving such beautiful gifts from your mother and for the 2 years of your inspiring blog! Lots of kisses and hugs from Brazil.
Muy lindo todo lo que hizo tu mami, para su nuevo nieto!!!!!! Mi mamá, aca en Argentina, diria: “De tal palo, tal astilla”, en referencia a tu don por el tejido. Felicidades!!! Un abrazo!!!!
What lovely creations! Your little one is going to be very cozy!
What beautiful treasures your mother has created for your little one. Congratulations on your two year anniversary. Best wishes, Heather
Very beautiful everything Angie, as a grandmother I know how your mother felt while creating for your baby. A lot of love and tenderness goes into every single stitch. Your mom is very talented.
BTW, out here in the US we call it a bunting.
Hugs.
Wow, your Momma is just so very talented! Such pretty work you both do. You baby is very blessed. I would call that a “bunting” is it closed at the bottom? A bunting is closed on the bottom. Whatever you call it, your baby will be wrapped in love!
Blessings,
Susie
How luck you are to have such a sweet and talented momma! All of the things she made are so cute. I see where you get your crochet skills.

Wow, amazing you two are very gifted. So wonderful to have all these handmade clothes and blanket. What a lucky boy to be welcomed to your family.
Good Afternoon Angie,
What a talented crocheter and knitter your mother is! Now I know where you get your talent and love of crafting from. It is called a bunting outfit, here in the U.S.A. They are one of the best inventions in baby clothing, next to the disposable diaper! LOL 🙂
I am also a grandmother and I knitted two baby blankets, one for each of my two grandsons. I still have not done any crochet work but I do want to learn and not be afraid of all the different crochet stitches. “Practice makes perfect” as the saying goes so I will have to start practicing. My sister just became a grandmother for the first time last week. Her son and his wife had a baby girl and she is the first girl born on my side of the family in 58 years!!! My younger sister, Mary, was the last female in the family until last week, when little Allison was born. 🙂 I am so inspired by your work Angie, and now by the work of your lovely mother as well! Thank you for sharing your love with us and Happy 2nd Anniversary of your wonderful blog! I am so happy that I found it this year. 🙂
Till next time,
Maggie
What lovely gifts for what is bound to be a lovely little babe! I can’t believe how fast time has gone and your little man is almost here! I feel blessed that you’re sharing this time in your life with us. Your mom is just as talented as you are! Your kids are very lucky!
