Yesterday, I received my Christmas gift :)

Hello lovelies,

Yesterday, I received a parcel from a wonderful lady. I met this lady through this blog. She left here a comment and coincidentally she was from my little country from Lebanon…and she lives here too ๐Ÿ™‚ So she send me some of the most beautiful yarn I’ve ever seen that she brought from Peru…I was like a child in front of his first gift when I saw the box and when I opened it I couldn’t express the huge joy I felt….the people in the post thought I was a crazy woman ๐Ÿ™‚ hehehe

So, enough talking…Let’s see what Joumana sent…

Let me show you ๐Ÿ™‚

First, I discovered these so cute little baby boots for Joe that Joumana made from felt…Lucky little Joseph…

and then 8 alpaca yarn with beautiful colors…this yarn is soooo soft … simply delicious!

and 11 of the most wonderful alpaca-acrylic yarn with amazing colors…

Joumana, you are one of the kindest and most generous woman I’ve ever met and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I really feel that I’ve received my Christmas gift this year and that I am sooo lucky ๐Ÿ™‚

And now the big question is: what will I crochet with this treasure? Any suggestions ladies?

Big kisses

Crochet

Yes, today’s post is all about crochet ๐Ÿ™‚ How are you sweet friend?

More progress to show you on Joe’s ripple:

I’m loving so much the colors and working on it.

I’ve began also something new…something I’ll call: Grannies with a twist…

Inspired from this wonderful blanket here…

Using some leftover acrylic yarn called “mirage”

with a 3mm crochet hook…this is what I’ve been up to so far…

I’m loving too much the black with the other colors…don’t you agree?

Stay warm my friend and have a beautiful day

19 Nov

Monday…monday

Good morning my friend!

How are you? How’s everything in your part of the world?

Today, I want to show you my finished cowl, the beginning of a new ripple blanket for baby Joe and many other things…

First, there is something that made me super happy this week end:

One of my patterns hasย been featured in AllFreeCrochetAfghanPatterns…yaaay ๐Ÿ™‚ย It is in a free e-book that includes 7 different ripple patterns. Please feel free to download a copy of this lovely e-book from this link:

http://www.allfreecrochetafghanpatterns.com/Ripple/How-To-Crochet-a-Ripple-Crochet-Afghan-7-Free-Crochet-Patterns-eBook

Thank you allfreecrochetafghanpatterns ๐Ÿ™‚

Soย I started a new blanket for baby Joe using this particular ripple pattern…Here is what I’ve been up to so far…

I’m loving so much the colors ๐Ÿ™‚

I wanted to make, using the same colors, a moss stitch blanket for Joe…I started it but felt that it will never finish on time and that the winter will pass before he can use it… so I stopped…The moss stitch is wonderful but the progress you make with that stitch specially when you have a time-consuming-little-baby is very very slow…that’s why I chose to make a ripple instead…

Here is my finished cowl using the moss stitch:

Excuse the pics taken with my PJ ๐Ÿ™‚ but that’s what I’m wearing most of the days ๐Ÿ™‚ hahaha

The cold days are slowly coming in our country and the crocheted bedspreads are back again on our beds…

In Joe’s room:

In the girls’s room:

And in our’s too:

Our room is still waiting for its new beadspread “love birds” which is still not finished ๐Ÿ™

and finally finally the love of my life…

Baby Joseph who’s now 2 months old

and who’s making his first smiles

Have a happy week ๐Ÿ™‚

Big big kisses from the bottom of my heart!

Discovering a new crochet stitch…

…and loving it a lot lot lot!

Good morning lovely people!

How are you today? Last week, I discovered on the net a beautiful crochet stitch and I searched for its pattern and found out that it is the easiest crochet pattern I’ve ever seen so I thought about sharing it with you of course ๐Ÿ˜‰

Don’t know if you already know about it …it is called Moss stitch crochet and it is G O R G E O U S ๐Ÿ™‚ The kind of stitch I easily fall in love with cause it melts the colors used in a wonderful way…

No more talking … let’s see some pics (ย I’m hearing you…) shall we?

So I started a cowl with some Nako Vizon Yarn using a 4mm crochet hook…

Let’s have some close ups…

ย

Oh oh oh!! Isn’t it wonderful? Do you see the little touches of colors how they melt together? Are you in love like myself?

and and and… it is super super easy to make…1 single crochet, 1 chain etc etc ๐Ÿ™‚

You have to google it for all the instructions… (just type moss stitch crochet) thereย is some youtube videosย with step by step instructions and written patterns ect…ย all that you need to learn this very very easy stitch…

Now, I’m thinking about starting a blanket for Joe with that stitch…Mmmm I’m already planning in my head the color’s combinations ๐Ÿ™‚

Should I finish joining the love birds blanket squares first?

ย I really should…don’t know if I can… ๐Ÿ˜€

Have to leave you now… little baby is crying ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ll leave you with a Christina’s pic…

Aren’t children adorable?

Have a wonderful colorful week my friend!

Hello!

Hello sweeties,

Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments, ideas and suggestions on my previous post…I’m so lucky to have you my friends ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve began giving baby Joe something called “biogaia”. Do youย know about it?ย ย It is probiotics drops…just 5 drops in the evening…and it is MIRACULOUS I must confess ๐Ÿ™‚ He’s feeling so much better…a little colics from time to time but nothing important …wow I’m feeling a lot better too ๐Ÿ˜‰

Just a few pics to share with you today…

I’ve began the long work of joining all the love birds squares together…I began this bedspread on January 2012 … long time eh? You can read the very first post of this wip right here

Right now I’m joining…when I can, of course…I make a line…

It isย a long process but I’m trying as much as I can (and as much as baby Joe will let me) to finish it before the beginning of winter cold daysย (wich is around december 15ย here)

and here are some pics of my children…my love…all my life…

My two princesses…

and baby Joe who’s 50 days old is making his very first smiles and I’m melting with love ๐Ÿ™‚

Have to go now…

I’ve began a new crochet wip…I’ll show you something next time ๐Ÿ˜‰

Wishing you all a very happy day!

and thank you again for being here whenever I need you ๐Ÿ™‚
