Helloooooo!
Do you remember the cushions I started in this post here? Well… They are done now and I can’t wait to show them to you…
I must confess…they were a pain in the a… to make… Those tiny squares are not so enjoyable (can we say that in english? 😉 ) to crochet…And I was like: when will my torture stop? 😀
But I like the result…
Here they are… tadaaaaaa
First you have the “S” for my youngest daughter Sarah … Here is a close up to my torture 🙂
Tiny one-round squares joined as I go following a cross stitch diagram 😉
And here is the second one “C” for my daughter Christina
Do you like them? I love them and the girls too…But I will not make anymore one of these (sorry baby Joe…I will make another kind of personalised cushion for your room…I promise…)
Before I go … a last pic of the shelves in the girls room… because I managed to clean and tidy the mess on these this week…
Wishing you a beautiful week full of sunshine and good things…
Thank you so much for visiting…
Thank you for your prayers and your so kind words on my last post… they really made me feel better …
Love to all!
Sucrette
P.S: Sorry about these words with links in the blog…I really don’t know what they are all about…and how to fix them…please ignore them until I find a solution 😉 THANK YOU!
J’imagine que pour tous ces petits carrés, il faut beaucoup de patience… Mais le résultat est très bien !
Très bonne semaine à toi également !
they are fantastic
Nice! But I’ll your warning to heart 🙂
I also had a problem with words with links on my blog a while ago – installed AdBlocker (www.adblocker.com) and voila, gone.
Oops, no, I’m not remembering that correctly…but is does what the name says. Have a look around on Google.
Angie, these are amazing – and you have made such a pretty room for your girls! I love the cushions but I do not think I could put myself through the torture of so many teeny tiny squares – you are very patient to do this! Very happy to see that you and your family are still alive and well!
Beautiful cushions
The squares are very tiny .
So sweet cushions!
So glad to know you are safe. Much love from Diana in Canada

They are wonderful! Well worth all that pain, though I didn’t feel a thing 😉 Thank you for sharing your girls’ room with us. Their room looks oh so pretty and full of colour.
Glad to hear you are still safe. hugs Ellyxx

I love both cushions – they’re very nice. 🙂

Lots of time
Lots of EFFORT

They’re beautiful! I actually like making projects with tiny squares or circles and joining them as I go. I find it to be good therapy. I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy it, but the end result is wonderful.
Blessings 🙂
beautiful cushions, what size hook did you use?? I’m tempted too as charlotte said above!!!
Your girls rooms are beautiful.
Hugs,
René
you did a very nice juvellery work 🙂
hope your girls are happy!!!
A-dorable!!
The cushions look really good. I would not have the patience to make one never mind two!
Perhaps you could make Joe a cushion using some nice material and a sewing machine (much faster).
That’s lovely Angie! I bet this will be in their lives for a very, very long time! Congrats, you just made 2 heirlooms 😉
The cushions turned out so cute!! They will certainly be valued for years to come. Good to hear from you; best to you and your family.
Hi Angie, I’m always sad to hear that there are so many people who just do not want to live in peace. One of my best friends, Mona, has to drive to Saida every day for work and she worries constantly. I do pray that things will not get worse.
Your crocheted monogrammed cushions are so lovely. I’ve thought of doing the same thing as I saw a butterfly afghan done in this type of pattern but my joining isn’t great and I think all the squares would definitely drive me crazy. 🙂
Sending hugs and blessings your way, Tammy
OOOh quels jolis coussins au crochet ! Ils sont très sympas !
Bonjour Sucrette,
Bises,
