Good morning!
I finished the cover for the pink stool but I tried it on a red stool I had at home and it was better. Much better…
Wanna see? Ok
Here is the red stool before:
And here it is after….Tadaaaaaaaaaaaa…
Very happy with the result I must confess…
Here are for you some pics to enjoy π
A view from above…pretty colorful granny squares joined together as-I-go …
I’ve added a trim of green pompom and I love love love it π
This stool is a special order for a very kind lady… Even though I wished it was mine I am very happy that she loved it π and that it will be cherished in its new home π
Here is “Mustard” saying goodbye to his friend…
He was with me during all the steps of the stool’s making π
For this stool I used this yarnΒ worked with a 2.5mm crochet hook.
Now I am finishing a second cover with the rico creative cotton. (I began this cover 14 months ago but did not blogged about it) This second cover will be for the pink stool. More about this in a next post π
Have to go now…
I hope that you loved the stool…
It is already gone to its new home and I kind of missed it here…
Have a lovely day!

Hello sweeties,
It is friday already and we are in August. Time really flies and sometimes I just don’t realize how time is passing by so quickly…
I am crocheting a lot these days and that makes me really happy and takes all the stress away π
I told you in a previous post about that special order of a pink wood stool…
… I’ve began the crochet-granny-squares-cover of it…
and I am very pleased with how it is turning out π
And guess what? I finished my very own amineko. Yes, this guy, this mustard guy is totally mine…
(This mustard color is my favorite of the moment. I used to hate, yes hate this color in the past…now I love it π )
I love his wide eyes open. He seems very curious about everything just like myself π π
I crocheted it with a thinner yarn than the previous ones. So this one is smaller …
and guess what? Hubby wants one π π hahahaha and he already chose the colors π
But he’ll have to wait because I have to finish the stool cover first π
Life is good my friend… Enjoy it… Enjoy every second of it…
Wishing you a wonderful weekend with your loved ones
Thank you for visiting!

Good morning sweeties I’ve been making some real progress on the happy blankie lately and I thought about sharing with you (again…remember here?) the four stages of a square’s life…
I always choose first the colors…then I work the first round with every color I have…
Then I add a second round with every color too…
then a third round…
then a fourth…
This is my favorite “technique” to work a blanket… It helps you work with all the colors you want without wasting time to choose colors and guessing which color you have to pick now… It makes you use all your colors …
Now I finished all the squares of my happy blankie…
Aren’t they gorgeous? 99 squares π (the final blanket will be 11 x 9 squares) yaaaay!!!!!!!!
Now I am really really excited about the joining part π My favorite! But I think I will not make it now because it is too hot… So the squares of the happy blankie will have to wait in the basket until september maybe π
Now I’ll be working on my amineko Β and the pink stool (more about this wip later π )
I can not leave you today without showing you my latest gift… something that made me really really happy last week… a set of colorful cloverΒ hooks straight from the U.S π
They are gorgeous and a pure pure pleasure to crochet with π
I am in love with their bright colors and their softness…I am really really hooked π
If you wish to order a set for you (they are really amazing!), it is right here from amazon. Go take a look π
Wishing you a colorful monday and a very happy week!

A new yarn added to my stash…
A new yarn I am in love with…
It is called Serin from Nako. It is a mixture of cotton and something called viloft (really don’t know what it is)
What I know is that itΒ is incredibly soft and that the colors are just wonderfully bright π
I will use this yarn for an order to a special lady who wants a wood colored stool with a crochet cover π Will tell you all about this project very soon π
Is there anything better in this world than buying new yarn? π
A wonderful day to you my friend!
