For a happy friday…

Good morning!

Here is an update of my ripples of happiness πŸ™‚

I don’t know if you noticed something has changed in the blanket (apart from the fact that I added more rows of course πŸ˜‰ ) … In the third picture you can guess…

Yes, the beginning of the blanket has changed πŸ™‚ Remember my first post ? I started the blanket with the green color and now the first row is in orange ..well I did not unravel or start again from the beginning…no…I just added some rows to the beginning of my ripple…

Well, to tell you the truth, I did not like at all how the first rows looked like and how the whole color scheme of the blanket was not my-kind-of-colors-scheme….and I hate, HATE, to unravel something… so I had to improvise πŸ™‚ and the result was amazing πŸ™‚

So, my lovelies, if you’re following my ripples of happiness pattern and you’re not pleased by the colors of your first rows, I’ll tell you in my next post how to add some rows to the other part of your blanket (the beginning part) πŸ˜‰

Now, I can tell , that I am happy, really really happy with my ripple…I feel that it is “me” again and when you feel that a project is “you” you crochet it with LOVE πŸ™‚ much much more LOVE πŸ™‚

Hope that you’re loving your wip project as much as I do…

Thank you so much for visiting today πŸ™‚

Happy friday!

For a colorful wednesday…

Hello hello hello!

More progress to share with you with Stripes of Love … It is growing slowly but I’m loving it more and more with every stitch made πŸ™‚

The third pic is a back side pic…and I love the back side of this blanket as much as the front…Isn’t the dc stitch (in white) looks cute in the back?

I still have 10 colors to add … That means 40 rows πŸ™‚ mmmmh hope that with these 40 rows it will become a good size blanket for my man πŸ™‚

Until then I thank you from the bottom of my heart for every comment you’re leaving here and I promise to be back very soon for my third-blanket-on-the-go’s update !!

Take good care of yourself, enjoy life, enjoy your day and enjoy crochet πŸ™‚

Bye bye!

Ripples of happiness: graphic pattern

Hello hello hello!

I’m slowly but surely progressing on my ripple and I thought about sharing with you the pattern I’m working on. It is a very old pattern from an old french magazine I found in my mother stash. And because the pattern is explained in french I decided to draw a graphic for you my friend !

The pattern is similar to Lucy’s one but it is more wavy. The concept is still the same… it is stillΒ  about rippling and rippling πŸ™‚

How soothing it is to ripple…mmmh…a delicious feeling after a rough day πŸ™‚

So, here it is:

First you have to make a chain multiple of 14 + 3… I advice you to make a small sample so you can try out the pattern and once you’re confident about it you’ll start with a longer chain for your future blanket to be…

So let’s start with a small sample…. always always always let it be a multiple of 14 + 3… This is the magical formula! Here it is 31 (14×2 + 3 = 31)

These are the first 2 rows… you continue with the others like for these first two …

and one last thing:Β  Always remember to crochet 3 treble in the last stitch of every row…

A very easy pattern to follow you’ll see…You have to try it to discover how simple it is …

and remember…I’m always ready to help if you have any question… πŸ˜‰

Happy crocheting!

P.S: All my graphics are made using Corel Draw, a graphic design software!

So I started my ripple…

Hello my friend,

How are you today? Hope life is good…

So, I started my ripple…

With the first two colors (dark green and light salmon) I was like: Ughhh not a very good start…

Then I added the turquoise….and I was like: mmmh a little better…

Then I added the red and I was like: OOOOH so much better… πŸ™‚

Then I added the yellow-mustard and I was like: woaaah hello Sunshine πŸ˜€

I’m loving loving loving too much my “Ripples of Happiness”! The pattern is very simple to follow…you have to try it and you’ll see πŸ˜‰ (veeeeeeeeery simple)

For this project I am using a different pattern from Lucy’s one… Same concept but a little more wavy…

I’m drawing right now a graphic pattern for you if you’re interested πŸ™‚ (I’ll post it next time)

I am enjoying so much this ripple along held by Lucy and Heather πŸ™‚ and I so encourage you to join us!

Go take a peek here there is a lot of ripples inspiring projects to look at πŸ˜‰

Have to go now… The girls are at home today…

Take care and happy crocheting!
