Ripples of happiness :)
Good morning my sweeties,
Such a beautiful monday morning today here in this very small part of the world…The sun is shining and even though it is a little cold I like the bright sunshine fresh beginning of the day 🙂
As you may already guessed, today’s post is a tadaaaa one and I am soooo thrilled to show you : Ripples of happiness in all its glory 🙂
I’m in love with this blanket (It is always the case with every project I finish 😉 ). It is so soft to touch so warm and cosy I can not resist wrapping myself in it every single night…
I did not make a proper border for this blanket as I wanted it to stay “curly” from both sides but I made a small edging to the beginning and the end sides and I just loved how it turned out 🙂
Crochet hook: 4.5 mm
The yarn used is: NAKO Nakolen a 50%wool, 50% acrylic yarn ( and I have a very happy news for you my sweeties: A person e-mailed me from Nako, I asked for you about an online shop and he said that it will be available soon 🙂 I’ll keep you informed as soon as I know more about it )
Blanket finished size: 120x170cm
You can find the pattern of this ripple here. I’ve made already my Ole Ole blanket using it …
This is my favorite pic (above) mmmm love love love it…
More pics for you to enjoy:
A close up to the edging made with crocheted little “picots”. Even though they are a little hard to crochet “picots” always makes simple but beautiful results …
I’ll leave you now with a last pic and wish you a wonderful and happy week!
Love you all !!
