Discovering a new crochet stitch…

…and loving it a lot lot lot!

Good morning lovely people!

How are you today? Last week, I discovered on the net a beautiful crochet stitch and I searched for its pattern and found out that it is the easiest crochet pattern I’ve ever seen so I thought about sharing it with you of course 😉

Don’t know if you already know about it …it is called Moss stitch crochet and it is G O R G E O U S 🙂 The kind of stitch I easily fall in love with cause it melts the colors used in a wonderful way…

No more talking … let’s see some pics ( I’m hearing you…) shall we?

So I started a cowl with some Nako Vizon Yarn using a 4mm crochet hook…

Let’s have some close ups…

Oh oh oh!! Isn’t it wonderful? Do you see the little touches of colors how they melt together? Are you in love like myself?

and and and… it is super super easy to make…1 single crochet, 1 chain etc etc 🙂

You have to google it for all the instructions… (just type moss stitch crochet) there is some youtube videos with step by step instructions and written patterns ect… all that you need to learn this very very easy stitch…

Now, I’m thinking about starting a blanket for Joe with that stitch…Mmmm I’m already planning in my head the color’s combinations 🙂

Should I finish joining the love birds blanket squares first?

 I really should…don’t know if I can… 😀

Have to leave you now… little baby is crying 🙂

I’ll leave you with a Christina’s pic…

Aren’t children adorable?

Have a wonderful colorful week my friend!

Hello!

Hello sweeties,

Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments, ideas and suggestions on my previous post…I’m so lucky to have you my friends 🙂

I’ve began giving baby Joe something called “biogaia”. Do you know about it?  It is probiotics drops…just 5 drops in the evening…and it is MIRACULOUS I must confess 🙂 He’s feeling so much better…a little colics from time to time but nothing important …wow I’m feeling a lot better too 😉

Just a few pics to share with you today…

I’ve began the long work of joining all the love birds squares together…I began this bedspread on January 2012 … long time eh? You can read the very first post of this wip right here

Right now I’m joining…when I can, of course…I make a line…

It is a long process but I’m trying as much as I can (and as much as baby Joe will let me) to finish it before the beginning of winter cold days (wich is around december 15 here)

and here are some pics of my children…my love…all my life…

My two princesses…

and baby Joe who’s 50 days old is making his very first smiles and I’m melting with love 🙂

Have to go now…

I’ve began a new crochet wip…I’ll show you something next time 😉

Wishing you all a very happy day!

and thank you again for being here whenever I need you 🙂

Baby’s patchwork bedspread

Gooooooooodmorning:)

How are you today? Must show you the patchwork bedspread which I finished on September15 before little Joseph was born! Must must show you 😉 Tadaaaaaaaaaaaa

This bedspread is crocheted with a 100% acrylic yarn called Mirage and a 3.5mm crochet hook.

It is made with traditional 6 rounds granny squares joined together as-I-go with Lucy’s wonderful method 🙂

and for the edging I made 1 round of granny’s and my ole-ole border that I love so much 🙂

The bedspread is made with 154 squares (14×11) with a variety of colors (all leftovers from my stash) 🙂

and I’m in love with it 🙂

Today the girls are back to school …

Not so happy to leave their little bro at home with me 🙂 hehehe

Wishing you a wonderful day!

I hope you liked the patchwork bedspread 🙂

Thank you sooooomuch for visiting!

Big big kisses from Christina, Sarah, Baby Joe and me!

Paintings and more

Good morning,

A BIG BIG thank you from my mum to all of you for your wonderful comments concerning her projects 🙂

Today, I want to show you two small finished paintings…

They are small, quick to make but I enjoyed painting them a lot…

I hope you liked them 🙂

I managed to make some progress on the baby bedspread too even though I’m spending most of my time watching the news… and praying…

The political situation is awful here and we are so afraid of another civil war 🙁

Please do join me in my prayers for my little country ….

Kisses to all!
