Flowery scarf………………………….D O N E :)

Good morning sweeties,

How are you today? Here the sun is shining, birds singing and I am in a very happy mood ๐Ÿ˜€

I finished yesterday my scarf and I must admit it is a very easy process making and the result is wonderful…

Let’s have a peek, shall we?The scarf , as you see here, is long enough to wrap it two timesย  around my neckโ€ฆ It makes a 208cm long and 23cm large…I think it is the perfect dimensions for a neck warmer ๐Ÿ˜‰

I crocheted it using the leftovers of my Stylecraft special DK yarns I bought online from here

… with a 3mm crochet hook.

Now, I have to concentrate on my fairy tale blanket (the one and only project in my hands for the moment ๐Ÿ™‚ ) and try to finish it before beginning anything else (that’s what I always say and never do ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

Our “move” (to a new home) is in one week (on the 28th)…the count down has begin…I am feeling so excited and a little stressed about the coming weeks…cross your fingers that everything will go well…

And now I must leave you and go back to my fairy tale which I’ll show you the progress done so far next time ๐Ÿ™‚

Until then, I wish you a wonderful weekend wherever you are around the globe…

Kisses,

Sucrette

This is such a lovely scarf, and certainly can take you into early spring when there is still a cool chill in the air. Beautiful job and I just love your color choices, once again! Oh why to I cling to gray, ivory, and blue? So hard to break out of a conservative mode!

I think it would also make a lovely runner for a spring or summer dining table!

  19. Fiona

Angie, your scarf is beautiful! Hope your move goes smoothly and is relatively stress free – it’s never an easy thing to do. We move back to Europe on Feb 25th, so I have a busy week ahead of me too.

I’m in the process of making a scarf with the pattern Attic24 has popularised but I’m finding the flowers a little floppy. I like your pattern, thanks for sharing!

  29. Pati from London

Dear Angie, I really love the scarf! You give me so many great ideas…. It’s fantastic! Thanks so much. Thanks also for your link to your Stylecraft yarn shop. I can’t find this yarn in London so I tend to buy it in East Sussex when I visit my mother in law but your link is going to be very useful from now on as I love that yarn and its colours.
I am in the process of making my girl’s ponchos with a very Cath Kidstonesque palette. I will post some pics on Flickr when I finish.
Once again, thanks for your inspiration and good luck with your house move. How exciting! x Pati
