Tissue box: the pattern

Hello my friend,

This is for you today how I made the tissue box cover…Hope you understand my charts 😉 (I use Corel draw to make them, it is a graphic design software)

To begin you have to make a small classic granny square crocheted with 2 rounds with the same color…

and then crochet a second square and join it to the first as you go, like on this pic:

and then you continue making squares and joining them as you go as this pic:

50 granny squares in total joined as you go….choosing randomly the colors 😉

That’s it my dear 🙂

You can also decorate your tissue box by crocheting a round of dc and then another round of small shells on the top of your box…

Enjoy!

Thank you all for your visit and your sweet messages here! I really really LOVE reading them,

Have a great sunday 🙂

This is super cute! I’m going to have to try it!
One question, how did you join your squares? With a slip stitch or did you sew them? Thanks!

You have most beautyful crochet charts I have seen! I have made several myself (with AutoCad) and I know it is quite time-consuming, at least in the beginning…

thank you for all this lovely and colorful patterns! hoping you will get well soon, I know this problem! Since years I’ve had problems wih my hand(s) and arms due to inflammatory and degenerative changes in the cervical spine and different joints. I would like to share my ” healing” experiencies with you, perhaps there is something you did not try yet:) and I don’t mean the medical stuff- even that I could share with you, being medical doctor and having also experience with this part of treatment… no, I am thinking of the little things only we can influence and what has been helping me. Check your sitting position, get a chair, you can sit ergonomic and relaxed, the chin softly pressed down towards the sternum- you will feel your cervical spine slightly stretching, do not lift the elbows, hold them in contact with your body, get light and ergonomic ” instruments” like wooden hook or knitting needles, relax your shoulders and breathe regularly with your bailley, not with your chest. I have checked all these aspects with my treating physiotherapist and it works. Perhaps there is nothing new for you and you are already doing it- then I can only wish you patience and endurance:) sincerely Myra
