Yes, today’s post is all about crochet 🙂 How are you sweet friend?
More progress to show you on Joe’s ripple:
I’m loving so much the colors and working on it.
I’ve began also something new…something I’ll call: Grannies with a twist…
Inspired from this wonderful blanket here…
Using some leftover acrylic yarn called “mirage”
with a 3mm crochet hook…this is what I’ve been up to so far…
I’m loving too much the black with the other colors…don’t you agree?
Stay warm my friend and have a beautiful day

De belles avancées avec de bien jolies couleurs, bravo Sucrette!bisous
Your ripple blanket is great….it reminds me of old episodes of Sesame Street!
Très jolie couverture pour Joe ! Quant à tes grannies, je suis d’accord avec toi : le noir est superbe car il fait chanter les couleurs ! Très bonne journée à toi et à ton petit monde !
joe’s blanket and the new one are really promising!!!

Black brings out all the lovely colours in the granny squares. I am looking forward to seeing the finished granny twist.

Angie,
Lindos, lindos, me entantan los colores……
cariños…
Both blankets are going to be beautiful. I love all the bright and cheerful colors you are using; like a ray a sunshine on a gray day. Have a wonderful day. Heather
Lovely lovely colours!
Todo bello, me encantan las mantas

I do love the colors in that baby ripple!! So vibrant! And your new blanket looks to be interesting, too! It has been a few years since I used black borders in my blankets (needed some brightness, to brighten my mood!), but it does look nice. My current afghan has “country” colors; med. blue, tea leaf green, cornmeal yellow, and carrot orange for the borders of the squares, still haven’t decided on my joining color yet. Crochet on!!
i love your ripple! i really need to make a copy-cat version! 🙂
Your ripple looks great and it is almost done! Your new one looks gorgeous too. Love the black edging.

Angie, I just love your colors! You always have such perfect colors picked out for your projects!
Hugs and love!
Beautiful ripple and those Grannies are truly divine!!! Love and hugs to Joe! ♥

I love this blankett too, yours is beautifull. See you later…. MN.
Beautiful!
I think that baby must be very calm and peaceful… you have done some beautiful work! I especially love Joe’s ripple blanket! Hugs, Jillx
Wow, how do you work so fast! I’ve been crocheting every night for a week and have only a third of a baby blanket and half a pair of fingerless wrist warmers done!
Que bien combinas los colores.
Hermosas tus mantas!!!!!! Yo no puedo hacerlas tan rapido!!!!
Me enseñaste a guardar los hilos en un canasto y luego ir combinando. Gracias!!!!!!!
Un beso desde Buenos Aires!!!!!
The colors you are using are so pretty, (on both).
I love the ripple pattern you are using, it’s not like the old fashioned one that I grew-up making, with the points standing so sharp. Yours looks like it just flows up and down all the way across, so soft. The colors you use ‘work’ together so well. I love Granny blocks put together with black. That makes the other colors ‘pop’. Great choices!
Thanks for sharing.
