Good morning sweeties,
I’ve been crocheting a lot…a really lot these days…It seems like the hook is burning in my hands and yarn is flying everywhere around me π A lot of creative ideas are melting in my head and I feel every night that I am running out of time to make all I want to make and I wish that the days were longer (a 48h day is good for me π )
I am working on more than 4 wips at the same time…Yes, each day I am picking 3 different hook sizes and working with them… crochet crochet crochet every second of myΒ free time π
Here are some…yes some of my wips of the moment…
* My poncho: The front is done…All the circles of the back are done too…Still have to join them and sew the front and the back together and decide on an edging π So, a tadaaa post very soon π
* The crochet mood blanket… January 25… 25 squares done so far…I am adoring this project π and how the squares of my moody days are coming along together beautifully…
* A new granny cushion with the wonderful mirage yarn π I love the colors of the mirage range but it is a thinner yarn worked with a 3.25 mm hook so small projects are done with itΒ (You see I am not so patient to work a blanket with this yarn π )
* A new secret project with a chunky yarn will be revealed to you very soon I hope π
Blogging about my wips is a way for me to stay focused on them and remember to finish some before beginning others. That don’t always work … but I am trying my best π
Wishing you a wonderful creative week!
Kisses from the bottom of my heart
Sucrette
Love how your mood blanket is coming along! And as for the wallet…very pretty hey.
I love your updates! Gorgeous colour choices too! Looking forwRd to the reveal of the chunky yarn project, too xx
I am looking forward to the reveal of the chunky wip
Oops I have just realised that I have 5 wips, crochet, knitting and cross stitch. I really must get on and finish them.
I am not creative like you and have to follow a pattern.
…I absolutely love your “moods” blanket!!!
Such lovely work! I have 4 wips going, and the end is in sight for 3 of them. Looking forward to the lovely reveal. Many thanks.
Hello Angie, Hope that all is well with you and your family. Always love your blog and your work!!! I have a request. If it is possible to share with us exactly how you make your “mood blanket square” and how you join them. I know that you gave a brief description, 12 Dc 5 Rows Edge 1-Sc Ch3 1-Sc. However everyone doesn’t crochet the same. Some for example add extra chains and consider the first 3 chains as a Dc and others do not. Another example is, once a row is complete and you turn your work around to start the next row…some skip the first stitch and some do work that stitch. Also exactly where do you enter your side edges to create the 3 ch loops to connect the squares and how you connect them. A group of us have tried to make your square and believe it or not everyones came out the same, especially the edges. If you could share more detail that would be great. Sincerely, “The Crochet Bunch”. Thanks!
Your WIPs all look beautiful π I like working on multiple projects at once. Yes, a 48 hour day would be great, but I still don’t think I’d be able to crochet as much as I want π
I just love the idea of the Mood Blanket, although I don’t have that many colors of yarn. I think I will use up left over yarn from projects and see how that goes. I have missed several weeks of your blog, due to illness and wonder if you could tell me the size of hook and is it a 4 ply yarn? I can’t seem to find a pattern but I think I can come close but I love the way they are joined. Maybe instructions on the last row would be helpful or maybe where to find them. Just love all of your pieces and thank you so much for sharing with us.
Debbie
Oh yes keeping the wips under control….I am bad at that lol
Love your work all so colourful βΊβΊ
Correction! (Sorry I meant to say…”that everyones didn’t turn out the same”)
Thanks for the Graph Angie!!! :0) You made us all happy!!!!
