Today, a lot to share with you…

Progress on 3 wips and a good news…

Let’s begin with the wips shall we?

A new painting…I’m loving so far…

More slow progress on my Love Birds bed blanket….

Some squares were 100%done, some needs the last blue round and some are still babies…

but I’m happily working on it πŸ™‚

and more progress on my poncho too : 19 rounds so far πŸ˜‰

and finally the good news is: Yes, I’m expecting (you already guessed πŸ˜€ …but chuuuut I’m still afraid to tell πŸ™‚

I am now in the last days of my third month but I still have that fear … I think it will never goes away… but my heart sings with joy when I think about the little baby growing inside of me πŸ™‚

and yes, I’m gonna spoil him (or her) with a lot A LOT of crochet πŸ™‚ For my first two babies (in 2005 and 2007), I did not crochet at the time, so my mother made for them crocheted blankets and I was making cross stitch for their rooms…but now…OH MY…I’m gonna make blankets, hats, socks, amigurumi toys, little sweaters… everything I can make with my hook πŸ˜‰ I can not wait to STAAAAAAAAAART πŸ™‚ crazy mom!

That’s all my sweet friends ! I am today very happy and calm! I hope you’re feeling the same!

and to my lovely french friends: Rosalie a gentiment propose le pattern en francais pour celles qui le desirent…le debut est un peu different mais le resultat le meme πŸ™‚ Vous pouvez trouver le tuto ICI! Merci infiniment Rosalie πŸ™‚

So, today, I want to share with you the beginning of my poncho…

Let’s take a look at the yarn first…well, do you remember the yarn I showed you in this post ?

Yes, it is the new Nako: the superlambs special a 50%acrylic, 50% wool that I’ll be using for my poncho.

There is 12 colors… deep colors that reminds you the autumn …

and I’ve totally fallen in love with these colors…they are my colors of the moment πŸ˜€ hehe

and now, let’s take a peek to the first 4 rounds of the poncho…

I’m crocheting the poncho with a 4.5mm crochet hook. I’ve started it with a chain of 88ch…yes, my head is a little big πŸ˜‰

Don’t forget: Your beginning chain must be a multiple of 8 and big enough to enter through the head!

I’m very pleased with the first 4 rounds of my poncho πŸ™‚ and I am sooo thrilled about it…when I’m doing things around the house I keep thinking about the moment I will grab my hook and add some rounds πŸ™‚

So, my lovelies, if you did not join us yet, I hope that today you will change your mind πŸ™‚ Come onnnnnnnnnnnn! We are waiting for youuuuuuuuuuuuu!
