My vintage blanket: the edging

Good evening!

Just a quick post tonight to post the graphic of my vintage blanket’s edging…and to tell you THANK YOU for all your wonderful comments on my previous post! I am really lucky to have you all … and so happy everytime to share with you and read your sweet words…

So, here it is…

To make one picot crochet 3 ch and then 1 dc (or sc for the U.S crocheters) in the first ch.

I just love this edging…The picot are a little “pain in the a…” but the result really worth it … simple but beautiful don’t you think?

Have to go now….

Sweet dreams!

My vintage blanket: it is D O N E !! Hurrayyy!

Good morning!

My vintage blanket is done ๐Ÿ™‚ Finally, the first blanket which is all mine, yes mine ๐Ÿ™‚ This time, I will not for any any reason give away this blanket… (selfish on Christmas time this is very very bad ๐Ÿ™‚ )

I love this blanket…I love MY blanket… wanna see it ?? yalla…

It is so “wintery” with all this white… like a field of flowers in a snowy morning … mmmmmh

The yarn used is Nako vizon a 100% acrylic yarn.

The hook: 4.5mm

Don’t ask me about the number of colors, I don’t exactly remember…It was leftovers I had in my stash with maybe 8 or 9 100g ball of off-white yarn…

150 squares joined as-I-go ๐Ÿ™‚ You can find the graphic pattern of the square here.

And after I joined all the squares together I’ve made this border which I adore. I’m gonna post the graphic pattern of this edging next time maybe, so if you’re interested, stay tuned ๐Ÿ˜‰

Dim: 110×165 cm

Last night was my first evening snuggled under my blanket while crocheting my rainbow ripple in front of the fire lit in the fireplace… a PERFECT evening ๐Ÿ™‚

and you? what is for you a perfect evening?

5 more days before Christmas… The count down has began ๐Ÿ™‚

I wish you a PERFECT monday, a PERFECT week and a perfect Holidays season ๐Ÿ™‚

Rainbow ripple : a colorful update

Hello hello helloooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well….wow…I am so happy that you loved so much little Teddy ! Thank you thank you thank you for your support and sweetness ๐Ÿ™‚ The pattern will stay in the right side bar of this blog if anyone still wants to buy it ๐Ÿ™‚ and if anybody paid and did not know where to download it please e-mail me and I’ll send it right away by mail for you to download!

Today, I want to show you some progress I’ve made to my rainbow ripple…

It is very colorful…I warn you…I MUST WARN YOU ๐Ÿ™‚

So? Are you reaaaaaaaaaaaady?

The yarn I’m working with is Nako Vizon a 100% acrylic yarn crocheted with a 4.5mm crochet hook.

In my basket that I cherish so much ๐Ÿ™‚

I want to tell you sweeties that if you’re looking for a similar basket don’t give up hope… ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’ve been looking for this basket for more than a year, then one day I saw it by mistake in our local church. The priest was sweet enough to give it to me saying that it was too big and too heavy for them and that they needed a smaller one…So, I took it home ๐Ÿ™‚ and my heart was singing of joy ๐Ÿ™‚ I was soooo happy ๐Ÿ™‚ and the next day I took 2 smaller baskets to the church with a very big “thank you” …

This is to tell you that sometimes when you’re looking too hard for something you don’t find it…and then, one day, you find it by mistake in a so inappropriate place for it … that’s life ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope that you enjoyed my rainbow update ๐Ÿ™‚ I feel that when I’m crocheting this blanket my mood changes… I feel happy and relax as soon as I make a couple of stitches… Magical, soothing crochet ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a relaxing and happy day!
