2 new blankets on the go :)

Good morning my friend!

I’m so happy to have you here today in my new blog πŸ™‚

New blog, new wips and they are once more blankets πŸ™‚

I’m obsessed with blankets! I can not help my self making more and more! But let me tell you something: I do not have a proper blanket for myself πŸ™ Every time I crochet a new one, I offer it to a friend or a cousin etc

Remember my fairy tale blanket who was supposed to be a blanket for myself? Well I offered it to a friend πŸ™‚

Remember also my love@first sight hexagon one ? I offered it too to a cousin of mine!

So I decided now to have my own blanket which I’m gonna call: Myyyy vintage blanket…It will gonna be a mixture between two patterns (the square from the fairy tale one and the inside of my love@first sight one ) with vintage colors… Too complicated to understand eh??

Well, to resume, it will be something like this:

Yes, I know, many of you are surely tired to see this kind of pattern with a creamy border….again…sorryyyyyyyyyyyyyy πŸ™ but I HAVE to make one for myself ! I have to do it !!! and I will! I tried to change a little bit from the pattern of my fairy tale one…but the spirit is still the same… hope this will not bother you too much πŸ˜‰

I’ll make a graphic pattern also if somebody is interested in having it!

All my graphic patterns are still here in this blog on the right sidebar! And on the left one you can find the categories, the archives, the awards and you can subscribe there too to receive an e-mail every time I write a new post!

and because I can not work on a single project I started also another blanket. This one will be for my one and only πŸ™‚ My lovable husband who also, as far as I remember do not have a proper masculine blanket for himself πŸ™‚

It will be called: stripes of love

and it will be huge because hubby is very very tall πŸ™‚

working on this kind of stripy blanket may be very boring…specially if it is too large…that’s why I’m crocheting two different projects together πŸ˜‰

I’m trying not to use girly-girly colors for this blanket and this is very difficult for me…

It is crocheted like this: 3 rows of tr, 1 row of dc in cream, 3 rows of treble , 1 row of dc in cream etc etc

and the row after the dc one is worked always with the back part of the dc stitch πŸ™‚

That’s all for today! Hope you enjoyed my very first post here! Hope you loved my new blog too!

Do not forget to add this new address instead of the old one in your reader or blogroll! Just delete : “.wordpress” Thanks!

I’m sending you warm kisses and hugs from : https://www.lemondedesucrette.com

Sucrette goes shopping :)

Hello my lovelies!

Hope you’re having a fun week end wherever you are!

Yesterday, like you already guessed from the title of this post I did some shopping! No, no not any normal kind of shopping…MY kind of shopping and I’m soo thrilled to show you what I found with a very very good price!

A bird cage:

I felt sooo in love with this cage and on my way back home I was already planning what to put inside πŸ™‚ yeah yeahhhh!

A parrot? love birds? NO!!!NOOOO! (I sooo hate animals in cages! specially birds ! Aren’t they meant to be free? When I was a kid I once opened the door of the cage to a lovely parrot when we were visiting some of my parent’s friends! I’ll let you imagine what happened next πŸ˜‰ hehe)

So? did you guessed what I put inside?

Hearts!

I sew them quickly this morning with some fabric scraps! They are not perfect but they are small, colorful and so cute:)

Look at the result: hearts hanged in a bird cage πŸ™‚

The result is much better “live” then on these pics but I can not resist sharing with you πŸ˜‰

I Love how it looks in its new home surrounded by some crochet goodies!

And did you see the geese? Yes I bought these too:)

Aren’t they adorable and sooo vintage? I keep smiling every time I enter the living room and look at them!

It is sooo good to live surrounded by people and things you love! and I just love every single object of my happy home! I am so blessed!

Sending you lots and lots of happy and colorful thoughts πŸ™‚

See you next time with some new crochet projects πŸ˜‰

Here the sun is going down and we have a beautiful sunset…

Have a marvelous evening too!

Mosaic cushion !

Hello !

I’ve been busy yesterday finishing the Mosaic cushion and writing down the graphic of its pattern.

As so many of you asked for it, I did manage some time to draw it for you ! (I could not resist πŸ™‚ )

It is so simple, you will see, you can guess it by just looking at the pics πŸ™‚

But before the graphic, lets have a look to the cushion πŸ™‚ (I adore it)

This pattern is perfect for a baby blanket or another Giant granny πŸ™‚ hehe

and the graphic made with Corel Draw:

A last pic before saying goodbye…

Thank you all again for being here πŸ™‚

Have a lovely day!

P.S: To Julia: I crochet every day sometimes for only 10 minutes sometimes for a couple of hours! It depends πŸ˜‰

New wip

Good morning!

Hope you’re having a fresh Monday start! Autumn is here and the fresh September breeze coming from my window in the morning is delightful πŸ™‚

I’m sooo enjoying my morning today and I’m feeling very happy without any particular reason…I think I love September…September and May are my favorite months…I just love the temperate climate of these two months…not feeling hot and not feeling cold either…

Crochet side, I’ve begin a new cushion to go with my vintage one… A mosaic cushion…

I’m enjoying soo much the making of this cushion that I’m already thinking about a future blanket made with this pattern…

Maybe…one day… πŸ™‚

Do you feel sometimes that you have so much projects in your head that you wish you’ve had 4 hands or days of 48 hours? that’s always happening to me πŸ™‚

althoughΒ  I crochet very fast… so fast sometimes that I feels that my hook exceeds the speed of my brain πŸ˜€ haha

That’s all for today my friend!

Enjoy the coming week and Enjoy September!

See you πŸ˜‰
