Today is my birthday and I’m turning 36…

I feel weird… I feel old… I feel happy 🙂

I feel so full of life and projects…

* The more I grow old the more I enjoy watching my children grow too and love every moment spent with them…

Hello!

The days are passing by so quickly…

The children are growing so fast…I still remember when they were newborns and it feels like yesterday…

I feel a little nostalgic today…

Crocheting makes me think about my life in general and I am thankful for my little family…

While I crochet I always have thoughts…sometimes it is bad and negative thoughts sometimes not… I try always to see the “positive” in everything and not think about dark days 🙂

A cup of coffee and some stitches make me feel better … always…

Life is good and there is always a rainbow after the rain…

Have a colorful end of week and a bright and beautiful Easter!

WIDN

Good morning 🙂

I am often tagged on Instagram to show What I’m Doing Now (widn) and this always makes me happy 🙂 I love to see what others are making now and showing what I’m doing too…

I love Instagram… It is my favorite social media… I am a pictures lover… When I was young I remember reading only the books with pictures inside… I love to see… see glimpses of other people’s life, home, wips etc…this makes me extremely happy 🙂

These days I am back to my granny white…

Remember it? I started it with a huge need to crochet granny squares… I still don’t know what will it becomes… But working on it makes me happy…extremely 😉

I’ve made 3 first rounds of each color in my stash… I crochet in series like a machine… a machine that enjoys what she’s doing 🙂 hahaha

Well it is a crochet necklace a gift from a very sweet friend Susan… You wear this cute necklace while crocheting and you will never ever loose your hook… or your scissor too (It holds both)

This week…

was a good kind of hooky week…

A lot happened around here 🙂

My crochet mood blanket 2014 is coming up nicely…

I am loving working on it and sometimes I feel like I want to finish it all and not do just one square per day 🙂

These are the first 14 days of February 🙂

I chose some yarn to begin a new project too…

A vintage stripy blanket…

This blanket is crocheted with rows of trebles only… I began with a 150 chain and I am working the tr in the space between the trs of the previous row … that is giving to it this lovely effect 🙂 I love it so far… and I’ve progressed on it too 🙂

It will be a big gorgeous blankie I am sure already 🙂

I love how the colors are melting together…this reminds me a little the moss stitch effect …but this is a lot quicker to crochet 😉

Working on big rows is very soothing and calming…

The best medicine when your children are grumpy and sick 😉

And I am also still working on my granny with white border…

and enjoying it 🙂 OOOH the pleasure of crocheting granny squares … I just love crocheting them…

I’ll leave you now with this last pic of some gorgeous yarn I bought just for the pleasure…without any project plan for them in my head 🙂

P.S: You keep asking me about the yarn I use for my projects. It is mostly turkish brands (Nako, Mirage) I buy from my local store here in Beirut. And unfortunately you can not find them online 🙁 They are very similar to the Stylecraft special DK a brand you can order easily online 😉
